When you think about what we ended up with that’s honking for Newcastle from a progress point of view.

On the other side of the coin, amazing cities, amazing stadiums and serious away atmospheres!

I’d have loved that draw for us if we’d been able to make the top 4 in the two times we missed out. We got a relatively kind draw first time round, would have been brilliant to go toe to toe against European giants.

Manchester United will qualify easily, but in second place.

Arsenal will qualify, but games against Sevilla will be critical as to where they finish.

Nightmare draw for Newcastle. Third would be a cracking effort.

I can honestly see Man City winning that with a 100% record. Cruising through to the last 16.

Celtic will have a horror show in that. Rangers' unwanted record of worst CL group showing in jeopardy.

Tough draw for newcastle.

Doubt they get champions league next year.

If they get third and drop down into Europa, I wouldn't bet against them winning it. They aren't getting out of that group though.

There's always some english team that will win the europa but they rarely do, is it 3 europa wins in over 20 years?  We have a pretty poor record in the competition.

Basically what we should have had when we missed out in 2020 and 2021, annoying.

Be glad to see Celtic finish bottom of that group. Guy on SSN just said 'can't see many 'gremlins' in that group' for Celtic lol

They're not qualifying from that.

I see Celtic finishing bottom of that group. "The beauty of it is that it will be a great coaching challenge for Brendan" 🤣

True. If Sevilla drop down, it's goodnight anyway.

Hopefully 4th

Pretty much.

Their fans need their collective ego puncturing a bit since the Beheaders took over.
