@Super_horns and that ofc is a 'division' below the EL. Not saying it's like elite, but Roma had had to earn their trophy. It was a worthy European win. 

 

The conference league minnows had had their fun..The best of which ended up in the last 16 with eight EL level teams. It made for a fantastic mini tournament.

I think a lot have liked the Champions league format and the fact teams don’t drop down into the Europa league but guess both teams have had good fortune and actually performed well.

It's a shame as Uefa had really nailed the old format for me.

As Panini said, the lack of CL dropouts has helped them hugely. They aren't as bad as their league positions generally but it probably proves the Europa League is weaker now.

Spurs are going to pull their biggest Spursy moment in history next week and lose 4-1 with Bodo scoring the winner on the 120th minute of ET. Ange will blame the artificial grass of Bodo's ground. 

Then Bodo are going to win it on pens vs Man Utd. 

This needs to happen. There must be football justice please.

My thanks emoji is meant as a prayer emoji. Although I wouldn’t mind if spurs won it and ange was swinging his d1ck around to the media all summer. He’d then have to stay at spurs, drag them further down, and eventually leave in a hail of bullets

Would rather see Forest in the Europa League instead of the Conference League as I'd be worried they might actually win the latter.

 

The Conference League standard has dropped massively since we were in it and West Ham won it, and that bar was already quite low to begin with.

My thoughts exactly. They won't last long in Europa but serious chance of progressing far in ECL.

Would also get some incredible aways in ECL, can't be having that

Europa is also a bit easier now without the dropouts, only have to look at this year's likely final to see they even have a chance at that.
