Overwhelming them more than expected so far. Promising as I fancy these to be our biggest test yet.

conceded a corner and I realise i still have absolutely no confidence in our ability to defend them, though we deal with that one well.

First bit of sustained offensive possession for Hull.

I can't post more than 10 a day, I think, so I might just have to resort to editing one post.

 

But:

 

- passing slick and excellent tempo (when we have the ball)

- Hull can't really cope and have picked up a couple of yellows

- their out-ball is direct  and diagonal generally, so far so good, but you can see they are trying to get wide players 'on their bike'. Shape does potentially looked susceptible to this.

- press so far is reasonably effective.

- Nacho has walked everywhere so far. I like Nacho, but he does himself no favours. Maybe he's good enough to walk in this division, maybe not.

- McAteer extremely lively and always available, his full-back is already booked and it looks like he's got him on toast, to my eyes.

- Hull quite good when they have the ball; the number 3 is pretty quick and is finding space when they get the ball to him right.
