It’s certainly an ‘interesting’ set of sentances @EnderbyFox

 

I’ve only read a couple of summary newspaper reports, but I believe the 5 were regularly pissing the judge off and received several contempt of court charges during the trial - not likely to help you when it comes to sentancing.

 

It was also suggested that the policing cost was in the region of £1 million. 
 

I expect both the charges and sentences to be appealed - and possible shortened - but I think the end result will still be a custodial sentence.

 

What is also clear is to characterise the actions as merely a ‘protest’ is disingenuous - the actions crossed a line.

But hey, I’ve climbed the stairs and tried to get into bed, and the searing pain has offered me a moment of clarity.

 

Currently in Leeds, neither you nor I has a fvcking clue what’s going on. Nor do the legions of bots, trolls and basic cvnts on Twitter. Consequently, am I more upset about (rather than angry) racists on Twitter being racist d1cks? Fvck yes.

 

Because even if it is a certain group of people doing something incredibly dumb, whoever they may be, they aren’t representative of hundreds of thousands of individuals currently not trying to set fire to a bus with a Bic lighter. 
 

Now I’m sure the Daily Mail or whatever you read would like us all to vilify swathes of people because of their origin, religion, skin colour or sexuality…but I’m sorry to inform you that this is not a much touted British value. We true Brits are a damn sight more tolerant.

this could well affect the public mood re  taking on hezbollah - the IDF are apparently speaking about human error.  Of course they are.  Otherwise the country is screwed because the Iranians have hundreds of thousands of these attack drones and they are easily and cheaply replaced.
