Games like that we go on to lose the last couple of seasons

Granted it's a lesser league but it's against a team that had nothing to lose really today, and everything to gain

Today could be one of those wins we look back on at the end of the season as huge in the context of things

I didn’t think we played too badly, kept the ball really well for long periods. Didn’t create all that much but it happens when the other teams get behind the ball. They didn’t crate much either, commentators were gushing if they got within 25 yards of our goal. Quality winner

Club record ninth successive league win equalled.

Club record seventh consecutive away win.

Best ever start from any team at this level.

Imagine when we click.

We have clicked…!,

but neither, players, manager or fans understand or can see it….

Look at those instant celebrations at the end of the game…

We are not going to do a Barcelona or Man.City in this league,we ain’t that far…

But..!!   It’s like actually winning after…the bridge too far..It wasn’t one of the top teams that gave us a game, but a good honest

group of Championship players who put their heat & soul, into the game…Loftus road stands proud tonight…

Even more so the foxes…. They overcome that first step of fears…of being out done,by a group of honest proffesionals who did earn the right to compete with us…

There was no complacency today, but in a new type of challenge, that often creates FA.cup impossible turn around,or a Leicester

of old, that will end up in an hard bottom half of,or relegated EOS…Grappling  the points against the teams like Champions L‘pool, despite failure, gives you something to hang onto..

That one game, that one moment you fear more than most…..Because you can’t explain to yourself why fail „in this game“

but you put in a worldly against  your opposite top 1-4 league opponents…

Well Leicester beat their inside demons today they faced upto those doubts, and grabbed a more sensational win, more than if theyhad beat Ipswich or Leeds…

Whether you beat or lose against last  mentioned,is irrelevant,i because it’s those unfancied  teams/opponent that break, irritate  ,your own esteem..Its that sportsman’s career following, unfathomable spice that you can’t control.

Well today…they did.. Its conquering that one failure, which should never of been allowed to enter your thoughts..A comical companion or bedfellow opponent that sticks in ones throat….

Many won’t understand, but our new squad and group of players answered their own deep doubts, one shows one has that strength in these type of games to dig deep & create that winning event from nothing..

Controlled the game well but still lacking fluency going forward. I've got no problem with patient build up but there were so many examples today of players going backwards for the sake of it when it was just as easy to move the ball up the pitch. That just allowed QPR to get back into their shape. Still, there's been alot of these performances this season and we're 13 wins out of 14. Let's step it up again on Friday

...that is going to happen when we move up another level, we probably are not going to do it with these players!!!

The whole structure is set up for us to play in a certain way, but within that structure, there needs to be individual thought that comes in which makes us less predictable.

A win is a win. Can’t argue with our points haul - it’s astonishing. But if we were a computer game, I’d turn ‘taking risks in attacking half’ up by about 20%. Said this a few weeks back, but too many of our players look backwards before they look forwards. Delighted for HW - so deserves that after his season thus far.

No matter if it's a lesser league or opposition - we lose that last season (With the 'better' players we had last season).

For all those claiming it was a crappy performance or a horrible game, appreciate it.

Having the resilience to dig in, work, roll their sleeves up and grind out wins like that is what we've so desperately lacked in recent years.

True, but it wasn't even just QPR parking the bus that caused us problems. You can give forgive struggling to break a team like that down. But we were so sloppy and wasteful right across the pitch. The boils down to not meeting our own standards that we know we are capable of.

Beat Leeds next out and we're 17 points clear of third after less than a third of the season.

That allows for one hell of a wobble and, in all probability, would make automatic ours to lose.

If Southampton win then we’d only be 15 points clear of third …

… but I know what you mean

Huge win thanks to a bit of quality from Winks. Whatever happens against Leeds now we're better off having won this one.

Hard to pick a man of the match but I thought Fatawu was a menace again. Mavididi comes out with and goal and assist but Fatawu was certainly far more threatening down his side.

...end product!!!

Hoping Yunus and Wilf are available next week. Wilf to start and Yunus and McAteer are great alternatives from the bnech.

Hoping today's somewhat substandard performance means we'll be really up for it on Friday. Great KDH and Winks stayed booking free.

This is a team that could break so many records - looking forward to a complete performance and a crushing defeat for Leeds as my son law is a Leeds fan, whilst the rest of his family are blue through and through.

...Yunus is to come in as a #8 but McAteer goes out wide on the right!!!

P.S.  How many players left to score for Leicester in the 23-24 season?

put a fiver on Mads to dribble from our box and to score a thunderbolt from the edge of the box and you might get 10-1 odds and get your self a nice ruby murry one night..

It’s a fair point but recycling the play is so important when you don’t have options. It’s no coincidence that a lot of our goals have come in the last 15 mins or so this season and as previous people have said the constant keeping of possession has been a huge factor in tiring teams out.

just checked the stats and we have 12 goals scored 0 conceded in the last 15 mins the most of any team

Given we started this game without Riccy P, Faes, Doyle, Ndidi, Yunus, Kasey, Kel in the XI today it’s a case of job done… it’s been a great week since the international break. Hopefully we can have as many as possible fit for the period of games from late November to new year as that’s when the squad depth really could come into its own for us

Great win even though we weren't at our best, but QPR battled well for most of the game, so credit to them.

Would like to see us not pick up so many daft yellow cards for dissent and other needless stuff, but superb stuff from the whole squad this season 👏 👌 🦊

30% of the season gone.

We are looking pretty good for a shout of promotion.

To win when you’re not at your best is always a good indicator.

I wasn't overly happy with Tuesdays lack of control and today was a bit of a battle but then again we've played Huddersfield, Rotherham and QPR away who are all the absolute pits and in some ways had to toil to get the job done.

We move on, we have to be better in the next two games I'd have thought but we are so so difficult to get anything from and I love us.

Just Ricardo left to score from our main starting XI. Staggering.

This game would be a loss or draw at best under BR's reign as an FA Cup or league game. Enzo at least has these players fighting and they're also stopping play by fouling the opposition before things get dangerous, the amount of yellow cards speaks the truth about tactics. BR turned this team to a Mother Theresa of football, it's strange we haven't been nominated for the Peace Nobel Prize.

I've been enjoying watching opposition TV based streams this year because its always the same. 70 minutes of "we are defending brilliantly" "Leicester aren't creating much" "we are still in it" then the penny drops and they realise that their team is dead on its feet and we've just stepped out of 1st gear.

What's crazy though is that there are still Leicester fans that can't see this even after watching us week in/week out and the match reread is a testament to that.

We are not going to win games in the first 20 minutes. We are going to win games in the last 20 minutes when the opposition are too tired to stop us.

The half time score means nothing when the other team have had to run themselves into the ground to keep it tight.

That's how we've been winning games all season and I suspect it's how we will continue to win games, pundits for other teams can at least claim ignorance but the bed-wetting element of our fan base who panic every single week with half an hour to go don't have an excuse.

Backed up by the stats too. We’re 12-0 for goals for/conceded in the final 15 mins of matches.

If we beat Leeds, they will probably not stay third...

I was surprised by QPR today. They played well and gave us a game despite the stats. It’s insane that they’re in such trouble. I thought they were good.

We are "easy" to set up against. Sit deep, make it tough and if you lose, oh well. Different game when Blackburn, Coventry rock up and you need to make things happen.

Last season, even in defeat, I thought our home performance v Man City was one of our best and most organised. The issue is that it wasn't that game which really mattered.

The way Winks bent that goal in reminded me of how Izzet used to score so that’s very high praise indeed…
