Disagree with you on this one.  He's one of the few players that show they care, and that has to be a priority for me to even get into the conversation of who should be captain.  Not sure he should make the team but have no issue with him taking the armband.  Who else in this squad are you giving too.  Beyond Ricardo, the other senior players are Vesty, Faes, Winks, Daka, Ayew and Mavadidi. James is a loanee still.

Cares so much that he's having a laugh and joke with the opposition manager after a pathetic team performance, in the sort of game we should be winning comfortably? Interesting qualities you want from your leaders x

Yeah I think the narrative of caring, passionate local lad went out the window after the piss up with Ward after the Forest FA Cup game.

Wasn't very good but had to come on because Ricardo was having a mare and was in danger of getting sent off.

So everyone with a bias against Hamza appears to be missing he almost delivered a glorious assist if Thomas had put that chance away?

A bias? He's been absolutely shite for weeks. He played a decent cross round that Thomas has played back across goal that should've been a tap in.

He was fine when he came on, and wasn't just a decent cross, it was a superb pass.

He's the least of our issues - striker and fitness are far bigger ones.

Mate he stands around and looks shocked when someone tries to pass to him. We look even more of a mess when he comes on

Strikers and fullbacks are arguably 2 of our biggest issues.

He had to come on at RB yday as Ricky was on the verge of a red.

He is just ok at RB, should be brought on at CDM to give us some legs and bite in there when James comes off.

Of the many things that clearly illustrate how shit this club has become, the fact that wasters like Thomas and Hamza still get game time, despite being consistently shipped out on loan with no buyers over the last few seasons, is the biggest for me.

We've become rather quickly a run of the mill Championship team, and this will continue to be the case as long as we have Top, Rudkin et al running the club.

There is a zen like feeling when you reach that realisation and I firmly recommend it.

We didn't yesterday, our issues were on the left.

Find it wild that when our biggest issues are lack of goals, Faes and Thomas' defending on the transition and fitness in the 2nd half that a cameo from Hamza yesterday is being discussed so much.

Winks, Jordan and Fatuwa are the only three players we have that look premier league capable. Maybe Ricardo but not convinced his legs haven't gone. It's utter dirge other than that.

Well everyone here has some kind of bias against every single player, no matter how much that is, for or against. Hamza is a good player at this level, but he's also very reckless, sloppy and has awful leadership qualities. That's the objective take.

And you need to put the bias away and realise that whilst that was a great cross, it would have been an incredibly difficult chance for Haaland given the angle, let alone Luke Thomas

Agree re. people having a bias. All I said it was a superb pass, and you said it was a great cross as well. Didn't say it was an easy chance for Thomas. So we've said the same thing!

Not a fan of Hamza but aim to be objective as possible. Faes and Thomas' defending are far bigger issues for me, both lost their balance at crucial moments for their goal. If they'd stood up, we might have avoided the equaliser.

He's doggo but the one thing we needed from somebody and he provided it.  A dangerous ball that deserved better.

The thing is we should be creating 3-4 of those sorts of chances minimum in the second half. When you rely on making one of them last minute for your left back who's got like 1 or 2 career goals, then you don't deserve to win.

This is where xg can give you a skewed vision of the match sometimes.

Great pass the end but before then he was having all sorts of trouble. He’s slightly lower priority purely because he’s only ever going to be a back up to Ricardo. If Riccy gets injured or when he’s rested (Tuesday?😬) playing Hamza and Thomas as our fullbacks is a real weakness in our team.

Why do people get so wound up over footballers acting human and talking to people they clearly know, not as if we've just been relegated.
