I'm looking on the positive side.

Rather than having to wait until 5pm to be disappointed and annoyed I can get it out of the way earlier in the day!

Can't see anything but a heavy defeat..

3-0 Baggies.

Your the most positive person I know.:ricardo:

But... Brendan doesn't want him to!

...and Claude is distraught about any exiting football.

Enzo, Brendan, Claude.....better known as the unholy trinity to football.

...I think it is a strange perception that we will perform better with a team that comes at us!!!

We are not great when pressed, we struggle to handle it, we get penned in and we try to play out and give the ball away and offer up chances. I would rather we come up against a team with a "deep block" than a team on the front foot and dictating how the game plays out.

WBA are not going to be sitting back, they will pick up man to man, they will get chances early and we will give up an early goal. We must dissuade them from pressing us, matching their formation for this game, or pushing for overloads in certain areas. What we continue to do is not working.

In my opinion this has been a constant theme ever since Puel tried to introduce a more possession oriented style.

I cant see anything but defeat.

Enzo doesn't seem very confident either judging by his press conference.

Four games ago so many people on here had called for the bookies to pay out on us winning the league. Our form has dipped somewhat but concerns had been there long before and we had been a bit fortunate in our results to that point if we were honest. On the positive side we probably have a better idea of what works and what doesn’t with this squad and what/where we need to improve. This has now become quite an important game for us. A win away against this team could really set down a

marker. We do need to play more positively as a team though and really look like are confident and up for it. If we get that from every player then we are capable of winning this, but it will be a tough battle.  1-2 away win.

Abdul shooting from his house😂😂😂

To be fair it was one of the worst shots I’ve ever seen in terms of choice and execution, also in terms of

high and wide, it was truly shocking.

WBA were impressive against Ipswich and I can see them being up for this too.
We have been too casual and too complacent for a while, we look like we expect the win to come to us rather than forcing the issue.
Could go either way, but we need to turn with a lot more than we have been in the last 6 matches.

Not really looking forward to it, fear the worst

I think when he’s referring  to being too quick. I think he means things like  Fat shooting from miles out rather than trying to get in a better position . As in trying to rush things

This is what I took from it as well. I think with the example of Fatawu, he means rushing the final ball/shot.

I agree with you. The turn around in opinion of the manager is unbelievable, even by today's standards. Honestly, come on get a bit of balance.

My away record is abysmal over the 30 years Ive been following city.

I went Wednesday  on Wednesday  and I'm going today.

100% nailed on defeat.

If your a betting man get your cash on it.

I apologise in advance.

West brom 3 - Leicester city 2.

We can win, if we go back to the direct football, cutting through the lines.

However most likely we'll do all the possession football stuff and then get sucker punched on the counter.

Play A midfield three of KDH, Winks and Ndidi for 90 minutes and no one in this league beats us.
I don’t care who else plays anywhere, that midfield three is the secret to us winning the league. It’s no surprise that the recent run of poor results and performances has coincided with Ndidi being out injured.

I tend to agree, but what's also worth noting is that in a good chunk of our wins in the first 10+ games, the goals came after 60 minutes when Ndidi was replaced. His movement and physicality helps tire teams out for others to come on and help us get the goals to win.

Very much like Middlesborough, West Brom are a team we've found far too easy in the last decade or more.

Please can we have one last Vardy masterclass at the Hawthorns 🙏🙏🙏
