Dates back several years when we played Watford at a Remembrance match - the days when the helicopter delivered the match ball.

As the helicopter comes in, out of respect, all players leave the pitch - always have done.

Deeney decides to stay out and continue his warm-up on his own.

Always admired Deeney as a player. Linked to our rise as a bit of a foil. I thought he was fantastic at Watford and he'd have had England caps if he was doing that at, say, Everton or Villa.

 

Bit of a suspect personality but can't hold that against him - we've had our share through Filbert Way.
