He’s been crap ever since we bought him …he has had 1 unbelievable game and some not bad ones …on the whole he has stolen a career

he really hasn't. he's been distinctly mediocre, which is a problem when the direct comparison is our greatest ever player. he'll go, and his replacement will also be "crap" because he'll also be Vardys successor and that's a shadow you'd have to be world class to get out of

I don’t think anyone compares him to Vardy again an excuse that rolled out just like how know one said it about Nacho, even Ayew has come in last year and got more goals from playing out wide.
Kasey Mcateer had similar numbers playing out wide in the Championship in less minutes.
Lots of excuses season after season.

Vardy has left now, as that was one rolled out regularly saying that playing second fiddle to a legend must be hard.

I’d rather see Evan’s used and grow in experience and technical ability than a bloke with the biggest blooper reel the club has ever produced.

He's most likely to see out his contract, by the end of which he'll have cost us around £43 million with the price we paid for him + wages. I'd argue he's our worst ever signing, worse than Slimani, Adrien Silva and Perez for me. We've signed many underwhelming flops but he just tops the lot I'm afraid.

No don’t engage because you are being a bell

”He was no worse than the other strikers during that period”
Daka

6 games started

no goals

Vardy during the same period

4 goals from the 5 he started

Plus 1 in 13 min cameo against Norwich

Another 3 goals in the two games that followed.

He gets heavy criticism because he has been utter dog shit apart from a small period, to the point where he falls over most games and can’t control the ball.

He no longer has the burden of Vardy now, let’s see if he can turn it around before there are no excuses left.

Not sure why he's compared to Vardy, he doesn't even stack up to Ade Akinbiyi.

Daka makes Perez look like Messi.

Perez wasn’t as bad as some make out btw.

I don't disagree he played a role but we still massively overpaid

I’m sorry but no one can tell me he’s a decent option.
Butchered a great chance today.
Fluffed his header in the last game.
Doesn’t use his speed to aggressively press, just jogs about.
Barely makes a run in-behind, in any kind of dangerous direction.
Falls over all the ****ing time.

Get a few mill for him and get him off the payroll.

I’m not sure what has happened since he joined but finishing is a skill at any level. Yes you have to be quicker, you have better goalkeepers to be and you get less chances so have to convert more at a higher level.

That said, he’s had some absolute shockers where he can’t even hit the target where those can’t be used as excuses and yet in Austria and in Europe, he has shown he can finish.

I think it’s too late for it to work here. But I also think he won’t leave due to our lack of options.

But, it absolutely wouldn’t surprise me if he comes good elsewhere. I also can’t hate the guy as he at least seems to put a shift in, unlike others, it just doesn’t seem to work for him.

That’s the Leicester way. Did far too well with Vards, and have wasted money ever since to balance the books.

Was the real Daka abducted by Aliens with them leaving this Patson shaped imposter with us while they probe the original?

He's either the worst case of a confidence player ever seen or he had the luckiest purple patch of any footballer know to man, lasting just long enough to get him a nice fat Premier League wedge.

His display today was appalling. Had so many opportunities to create a shooting chance but either mis controlled or fell over. Ayew on the other hand played well and scored a well taken goal. Evans is not ready yet to take a leading role so therefore a new striker is the number 1 priority.

There's not a chance in hell that players like Daka, Kristiansen, Faes, Soumare etc have absolutely no clubs that would be interested. The issue lies with our DoF probably thinking they're still worth more than we paid for them, and also the money they're earning with us that these clubs will not or cannot match.
