Met him once at Hollywood bowl, was playing on the next lane. Really likeable bloke who had a laugh with our group and had selfies with no issues for countless kids who approached him, even though he was on a trip out with just his partner.

Given he seems a good bloke, I'm a bit gutted it's not worked out for him, if he stays or goes he gets my best wishes for the future

Always nice to hear stuff like this about players

There's a joke in there about him having to play with the barriers up and still missing

Realtalk though, he's always come across as a genuinely likeable fella. It's just unfortunate to see how much he's regressed. I think at this point it's not worth our effort hoping he'll come good - a fresh start elsewhere might do him good.

I was buzzing when we bought Patson, felt like we'd really gone for the perfect Vardy replacement, but he's lost a huge amount of confidence and really detached from how simplistic his game was at Salzburg.

If a coach came in who just wanted someone to run in behind and get first time shots off, he may rediscover it, but feels like he will never hit the heights we thought he may.

I do still think he would bag 15 goals as a first choice championship striker, but time for him to move on if we have the opportunity to do so.

Bet he had the buffers up and still missed!

This is the main reason he has not had the on field flak that others get when they’re pretty useless. He really does seem a lovely guy and we all want to see him come good but sadly it hasn’t happened .

Daka is so bad Ayew will be our fist choice striker next season.

And we’ve been so bad Ayew is one of our better performers this season!!

Daka was a £25m project when we signed him.

He was highly touted and a bit of a phenomenal player for Salzburg.

I actually think we’ve somehow coached him to be worse than he was when he arrived.

He doesn’t have the same ability as he didn’t our seasons ago.

If someone showed you this video and said he’d scored 54 goals in 82 games, you’d be happy.

Where has that player gone?

Jeez. Really is like a different type of player. Standard not great but basically every type of goal you could score there, tonnes of great chances created, the ability to dribble past a man.

Ultimate confidence player if there ever was one.

After the first sentence I was expecting you to say he got a spare for you.

I seen him in Loughborough once, it was actually really nice just seeing him not playing football.

Getting a striker this summer should be priority but tbf we’ve been saying this for years now.

The honking style we have had for a few seasons hasnt helped if we played a bit more attacking and had good service it might help him. I still think theres a reasonable player there,we just dont play to his strengths. Even prime Vardy struggles in this team tipy tapping between centre backs.

He's offered nothing in recent times, but maybe living in Vardy's shadow hasn't helped. No harm sticking with him for now, see what he's made of once the goat is no more. Maybe it'll bring something extra out of him, who knows.

It baffles me that some continue to say he's low on confidence, he needs a run of games etc. The man cannot control a football. The most basic of things you learn when starting out.

Similar things were said about Nacho but to a lesser effect.

i have met him a few times in Bosworth (lives opposite the park) and he is always happy to chat with locals etc. it is a shame it hasnt worked out but we cannot keep players like this any more we need to shift him on somehow.

Nacho was a proper enigma in that respect, some times his first touch and close control were world-class. Other times he'd shin a six-yarder into the next postcode. There was no in between for Senior Man. lol

Nah its a deflection off the back of his head.  He didn't even see the ball coming.
