Transfer embargo

Recommended Posts

The EFL have now said, should we  we not got promoted, from next season we will have a transfer ban !  I really don't know whether to laugh or cry at the moment . WTF has happened to a club that up until 2 years ago we were the envy of every football fan in the country , best owners , best run club , a model club ! Not sure who to pint the finger but ultimately its TOP...... BAD BAD NEWS !

The Club further notes that at 4pm today the EFL issued a public notification that LCFC has been placed under a registration embargo pursuant to its P&S rules. The EFL is aware that LCFC has disputed the EFL’s entitlement to impose this constraint, which is both restrictive and premature, with more than a quarter of the Club’s 2023/24 reporting period remaining.

LCFC has been compelled today to issue two urgent legal proceedings against the Premier League and the EFL. LCFC will be seeking that each of these proceedings is determined by an appropriate and fully independent legal panel.

Does seem premature. Giving us a transfer embargo for breaching rules we’ve not even broken yet.

Hopefully the EFL have messed up here. Although they do seem to be going after us with extra vengeance. Probably because we’ve embarrassed them!

We have breached them, that’s why they’ve done it. It’s just not been publicized yet

And no pressure from the fans for any either so no wonder.

About time our beige brigade woke the **** up and started fighting for the club they apparently love after being a ST holder since the stone age.

Everything to do with the club including the fanbase is so passive

Well to be honest the club was more his dads project. Top just inherited this club even if he wanted it or not. I do feel a sale is coming within the next two years.

It was obvious the real passion, vision and love for the club came from Vichai - That's why he'd flown thousands of miles to be there at that fateful game against West Ham.

What a man he was.

Going up anyway, so doesn't matter.

Premier League is already saying to the EFL  ‘Hold my mother feckin beer’. lol
