Transfer embargo

Recommended Posts

Don't want to back the club up because Top, Rudkin and Susan need to be held accountable.

But why the **** is the EFL getting involved? Seem absolutely desperate to make an example out of us.

Let's have some proper communications from the top - Top, Rudkin, Whelan - who's going to take responsibility for this shambles?

Still waiting for the results of the thorough investigation that took place after our relegation.

The EFL have now said, should we  we not got promoted, from next season we will have a transfer ban !  I really don't know whether to laugh or cry at the moment . WTF has happened to a club that up until 2 years ago we were the envy of every football fan in the country , best owners , best run club , a model club ! Not sure who to pint the finger but ultimately its TOP...... BAD BAD NEWS !

They are upset they got their asses handed to them by the last independent panel we took them to.

So who has decided on this embargo the EFL board if so surely they have a vested interest looking at them there's Rick Parry, Peter Ridsdale, one from Millwall, Preston & Middlesbrough, plus others from outside the championship, this is why an independent panel should do it.

Well to be honest the club was more his dads project. Top just inherited this club even if he wanted it or not. I do feel a sale is coming within the next two years.

I swear I hear this a lot, but I remember reading loads of times that he wasn't that interested in football and bought the club because his son loved the game.

No arguing Vichai was the better businessman though.

Ridsdale was on the radio the other day railing against parachute payments, so no surprise he's involved.

Basically, the EFL have been waiting for this moment for a long time. In their eyes we got away with going into administration unpunished back in 2002/3 and then also escaped FFP punishment back in the Pearson days as we got promoted. They are so desperate to make an example of us, they even tipped off the EPL, in case we get promoted, which led to yesterday's news. Watch us get the heaviest punishment of any club now. The fact we're being combative, throwing legal threats around, is high risk as it might only encourage the EFL/EPL to throw the book at us harder, if they are successful in pinning the charges on us.

Serious question, did you want Vichai held accountable for breaking them the last time we had were in the champ?

Or do we just give that a pass because we won the league before agreeing our fine?

Don't  worry, on presenting our case in court when we declare on the mitigating circumstances that all of our seats will now have clappers on them for the rest of the season, the judge will stand up and declare that no further action against the club and case dismissed.☹️

And no pressure from the fans for any either so no wonder.

About time our beige brigade woke the **** up and started fighting for the club they apparently love after being a ST holder since the stone age.

What makes you think the fans you have such distaste for, are not up for the fight?

So basically any team getting relegated MUST sell their star players at reduced cost, is what this says to me.

It's not like we went out and bought loads of extra players without offloading anyone.
