Fvck the PL, fvck the EFL, fvck UEFA, fvck FIFA, fvck PGMOL, fvck the Super League, fvck the Big Six and fvck VAR.

 

Whatever happens, whatever state our club is in, we will always be here. Everything is temporary. Everything is transient. If we're in the doldrums for years, we'll rise again. Our city, our history and our fanbase won't allow us to be in the sh!t for too long. It could take a couple of years to steer the ship into calmer waters. It could take a decade. But we'll be back sticking it to the big boys again because that's who we are.

Im pretty much feeling done with English football.

 

We have our faults no doubt but lets face it, everyone who isnt  charged, will be at some point oR wil just be bottom feeders whilst the top 6 give eachother reach arounds.

 

Football in dead in England. I feel for clubs like ours and all the efl clubs below us who will understand to stfu and stay in your lane.

Yes, Man City et al have spent huge sums on players, but they’ve sold players for lots and lots of money too. Merchandise, season tickets, etc bring more money in than a club like Leicester.

Where we have probably gone wrong is in signing duff players on big salaries, and then being unable to sell them. There’s loads of examples. Soumare, Bertrand, Vestergaard, Amartey etc. A load were up for sale but no-one wanted to sign them. Hence, no money coming in on transfers out.

Remember that players like Slimani were on 100k peer week! Some on here have tried to justify that signing but I still believe he was one of City’s worst ever signings in terms of value for money. Daka, Nacho also on decent money and again, no suitors to offload to if we wished to.

Therefore, income hasn’t equated to outgoings for a couple of seasons. Ie if that continued we are not sustainable.
