Hopefully Faes and Daka out the door first.

Who bids for them and matches their wages though? Anyone who was silly enough to be interested last summer will steer well clear now. We owe Daka £7m in wages still.

We're ****ed.

In championship, -10 points and transfer embargo. But we can use what we have got.

Stolarcyk

JJ

Soutts

Coady

VK (tough shite that he don't wanna be here, he's under contract)

Winks

Hamza (or even Soumare)

Stephy left

Ricky right

McAteer central

Cannon

We could well still go up with a manager who actually knew how to set a team up.

I think we may get 15 points and transfer embargo in the championship.

They are going to absolutely hammer us!

We are obliged to pay them..

Exactly as we had to pay Walker,.Elliott, Muzz, Impey, Frank back in 2002 and we.jadnt any money..

We had to beg the players to defer the wages, which they did.

JJ, Ricardo and possibly winks would get moves to lower end EPL clubs even if at a cut cost sale to offload them. We can't go on making huge losses & failing PSR/FFP year on year

There are positives!  If we both stay in the championship we will get a repeat of

El Snackico.

🤣

If we do stay in the championship, and it's looking likely, then I don't fancy our chances against you lot in our relegation 6 pointer next April, I have to say!

Genuinely reckon we won’t be able to put a squad together, not one without academy players.

That is my concern as well. The EFL don't like us one bit, so will throw the book at us. Staying in this league is not a blessing in disguise that some have eluded to. It could ruin the club for years

The club is broken

Championship may be better for us. With the mess we are in I fear the Prem would be a Sheff Utd like experience. Miserable.

So we sell whatever we can this summer as well as saying goodbye to out of contract JV, MA, Wilf, Kelechi and Jannik. Yunus and Callum go back to host clubs. Don’t think we will be able to buy Fats.

We will certainly sell KDH. Hopefully can find buyers for Wout and Patson (I’ve so wanted him to be a success here ). There might be offers for some other players, but as the OP said we then use players in contract but out on loan, or youngsters. We try and pick up a couple of freebies (we have to get our finances in order). Mid table next season, then hopefully progress the season after with players like Cannon, Wanya, Alves, Braybrooke, Wormleighton, and hopefully still one or two of the likes of Coady, Ricky P and Winks to provide a core of experience.

Any suggestions who's gonna pay Coady 40k a week? Or Winks? Or even Ricky? Souttar? JJ? Stephy? Cannon 20k a week? Can't see Watford lining up to pay Hamza 40k.a.week

They’ll be plenty of buyers don’t worry about that.

Bring Steve Cooper in as manager , will help bring the youth team into the first team

Agreed, but would he fancy it with a transfer embargo and a points deduction?

It’s going to be utterly brutal when we stay down in the championship.

Fire sale of all fire sales needs to happen in the summer to avoid a cycle of 2 or 3 years of points deductions by the EFL who will be absolutely out to ruin us after we’ve exposed them twice as clueless. Problem is there’s no chance of us selling some of the players we need to sell most of all because of their book value.

We’ll need to try to cash in on KDH and Iversen as quickly as we can, than onto Ricardo, JJ, Hermansen and Faes we could probably achieve some sort of book profit on. We might get just enough for Winks to not make a PSR loss and get his wages out the door too. Just really hope nobody comes in for Nelson as we wouldn’t be able to turn down pure profit for him.

Daka, Soumaré, Kristiensen, Coady, best we can hope for is a loan out the club early in the window. Try and get Ward off to Wrexham too

Every player out of contract will need to be out the door bar Thomas who we’ll take the option up on and hopefully realise a profit at some point in the next 12 months. At least we won’t be saddled with the fees for Yunus or Fatawu.

All this will see us under the 24 player squad that EFL rules stage we need so then it’ll be acquiring free transfers and kids on loan or released by prem top 6

Most important of all, Enzo needs to walk away as soon as the season is done so we can get a manager in who can achieve more with less - got to say someone like Steve Cooper would be the guy if he’s not been snapped up by then given he’s going to have to work with a load of young players and the next two years are going to be anything other than easy.

could see team starting next season look something a bit like this.

Stolarcyzk, Loan RB, Nelson Souttar, Thomas, Braybrooke, Loan CM, Mavididi, Alves, RW, Cannon.

Agreed, wages will keep most of our squad here for next season. Some of that is good news if we stay in The Championship as we have quality players like Ricky, Winks etc unfortunately we will be unable to move players like Daka who isn’t going to get a fraction of his £79k wage anywhere else in the world. We will have him and Danny Ward knocking around the place until their bloated contracts finally end.

It won’t be better for us, and the sooner people realise this the better.

The EFL will be given full licence to **** us over. We will have to sell everyone A to comply with FFP going forward and B to try and generate some funds.

We’re likely to be placed under a transfer embargo and have a massive points deduction. The club overnight will be destroyed. We will end up going down, and probably going down again.

We’re probably going to have to accept that we will end up at the foot of the football league pyramid and have to try and rebuild slowly.

People may laugh at this, but people laughed when we said we would be relegated last season.

I'm ready for it. I'm ready for a break anyways. I've been far too wrapped up in this since the promotion season.

The club, as many have said, needs total and complete fumigation.

Our simp fans. Whelan waddling along mumbling diversity, family and community. Rudkin handing out Lottery wins. The ticket office with it's iron clad refusal to sell tickets. The Thai worshipping. Even Vards, Wilf, Albrighton...they need to move on. The women's team. Seagrave even which has seen a massive exodus to Nottingham.

We all basically need a clean break.
