She was a huge animal lover and campaigned extensively for the abolition of all forms of fox hunting. 

 

78 year old woman murdered in her own home. 

 

Absolutely horrendous and the circumstances sound harrowing.

She was murdered!! and the headline clearly stated that she was a Conservative minister.

She ate them, contributed money to industries that exploit and kill them. She wasn’t a huge animal lover. Wanting animals not to be ripped apart for sport isn’t being an animal lover, it’s just not being a complete psychopath.

Susan Coysh, who is Ann Widdecombe's neighbour, tells the BBC she is "devastated" to hear of her death.

"I'm shocked. In this lovely setting where we live," she says.

 

Murders should only occur in scum places then?

I'm sure many didn't agree with her on a lot of things (myself included) but murdered in your own home is horrific. 

 

I wonder if we'll ever know the circumstances around it.

Midsomer had a murder every week of year and you wouldn't want to be friends with Jonathan and Jennifer Hart.
