Waiting until 1 July, so we don't have any more spending this financial year.

We're into the new accounting period, so should have some news on the incoming Coaching team this week. Certainly, Andrew Hughes, but very likely there'll be a few from Cooper's Forest set up. Tate, Tivey and Alcock are not contracted anywhere, so possibly the first in, but I'd like to see Steve Rands (Analyst) as well - probably not too expensive to bring in (he's still at Forest), unlike Reid. And there are a couple at other clubs, who might be targeted and not too difficult to get.

Bet Reid has to use a mobilty scooter to get round on now, he was a right bloater when he was still playing! Never really thought his name and training would be seen in the same sentence?

Adi Viveash has surprisingly left Cov, he would be good to have in the backroom staff

It seems to be without any accompanying rumour / known plan… surely has to be us??

If he does come to us, it must be as Assistant Manager. 7 years as Robins' Assistant, there must be a very good reason to leave.

Good move if so, he's got good pedigree.

Everything regarding backroom staff will be announced by next Monday when the first training pics are all over social media. If it's just Cooper out there on his tod with a few fitness coaches then start to worry

If Viveash and Hughes are on their way to us - I guess it will be as Joint Assistant Managers / First Team Coaches. With their CV's, that's the only jobs I'd expect they'd be attracted by. So, no ex-Forest Coaches / Assistants, other than Alcock as Goalkeeping Coach and Tivey as Fitness Coach?

Their fans seem gutted he’s left too so would be a very good appointment, not seen any links but with how random him leaving was, it would make sense.

This has all gone very quiet. Cooper will be on his todd on Monday!

England GK coach Margetson was at Swansea with Cooper and left with him when he went to Forest.

Looks like he signed for Swansea in June. Shame because the England keepers love him.

Any more names linked?

I've just read John Percy's latest article. Lots of names mentioned, it says Cooper is working hard to get players and staff in. Alan Tate mentioned and also someone from Forest. Hughes been confirmed now too.

Alan Tate - Assistant Manager

Danny Alcock - former England U20 Goalkeeper coach

Steve Randa - former Head of Performance at Forest

The article was encouraging. Not just because it seems there is definitely money to spend, but also with regards to Cooper's determination to understand the club and the city. Also good news that we're apparently not interested in O'Hare.
