Sheffield Wednesday in a bit of bother ?

Their fans might not be greatly surprised.

wednesday get screwed over so many times you'd think their fans would be more dubious about any new owners, but they seem to accept anyone with open arms.  Just acceptance and apathy throughout.

Wednesday fans don't ever seem to be bothered about the constant rubbish he puts them through.

Whichever person/group of people from the league okayed this guy to take over Wednesday, really need to be sacked

Their fit and proper test isn’t really fit for purpose .

I thought they were very much against him and wanted change?

Add Reading FC to the list, they have 2 days to find another buyer or face been frozen out of the EFL altogether just as Noel Hunt finally has them playing well and in the play off positions.

They have been victims of not having a fit and proper owner, he failed to buy Hull why the FA thought it was ok for him to buy Reading then who knows & they are the ultimate example of how PSR (in whatever guise) fails any club outside those traditional bigger clubs & really isn’t fit for purpose.

Reading have had something like 18-20pts deducted over the years dropping them the Premier to Lge 1 in a few years, where as Chelsea just sell something they own to themselves, it f’ing stinks.

I really hope someone can force their dic owner to accept any offer, he’s already turned down £30m from the ex-Wycombe owners & it’s not like it’s worth anymore because the man has already asset stripped anything of value.

Carrick has got Nacho tracking back and playing very productively in that second striker role he loves!

Someone suggested in another thread that Luton have bombed it because of their squad and some of their signings since getting relegated but I can't say I buy it, these players shouldn't be in a relegation threatened side. Injuries could well be a contributing factor they've got some.

Great goal!

Great goal!

They didn't replace some of their key players. And a lack of motivation after their time in the PL has been cited too.

Their fans are saying the Coventry goal was offside but did it take a touch off the defender ?

Ben Nelson & Oxford rocking the boat currently v Hamza & Sheff U.

I know Leeds have had the beating of us recently but would we rather they don’t get promotion, surely wages must be coming a struggle if they don’t & then will the likes of James, Gnonto, Rondon, Piroe, Bryan & Bamford stay could this season be make or break for them?

It did,  but the old rule about being played onside if it touched a defender was abolished in about 1972, and the new rule is specific that it doesn't apply to a blocked shot. It only applies if the defender has time and space to control the ball.
