Don't really understand people saying the Spain squad isn't that good and ours is better. Rodri, Olmo, Ruiz, Yamal and Williams are all top class players. I think we often over hype our own and as good as some of them are at club level, some of them have been really poor. Kane, Bellingham, Rice, Foden have been nowhere near their club levels. And then you have Cucurella who hasn't been great for Chelsea but has been the best left back in the tournament. Spain always have a probably always will play better and more technical football than we do.

Germany and Spain were probably the best two teams in this tournament and met in the quarters, and it took a late goal against the run of play to beat Germany in extra time. 

 

Spain deserve it of course, still think it wasn't a vintage tournament year in terms of the quality of teams.

The Germans got two controversial calls against Denmark. What's your point? I don't think there can be any doubt that Spain have been the best team in the tournament.

Just chance it for 5-10 minutes when you had the momentum… if you then want to close out until extra time via changes, fine… but don’t switch to a poor, passive 4-4-2.
