I've defended him often enough, but today the manager had a nightmare. I should add that the fans calling for Ricardo and Fatawu and JJ on the left also need to ask themselves a question or two. I'm sure his big selection decisions weren't in any way concessions to the fans, but either way, they backfired spectacularly. Fatawu, for one, put in as bad a PL performance as I've ever seen.

players let him down 2nd half crap performance, he picked the team everyone has been crying out for with Enzo's tactics and it did not work.

Be nice if he had his own tactics

As I said, the goals conceded aren't on him, individual errors. But he's clearly been outdone at ht by NES. If we'd lost that 3-1 but created a fair few chances and played ok 2nd half then yeah the blame lies fully with the players. That 2nd half performance was an abomination and that is on both Cooper and the players.

Agree but hard to take after starting with our best 11...bit sad 😂

Think he tried to appease the fans tonight with that lineup without much thought of a game plan.

If only football was that simple.

I'm now solidly on the Cooper out bandwagon.

Very, very bad tonight. Forest are a decent team. But hardly world-beaters. Need to at least put up a fight against teams like that.

I get the complaints about 1 shot on target, but I think people are forgetting or haven't noticed how good Forests defence has been this season. It's the second best on paper so far, and that's after our game in which they've conceded.  They've conceded less than the much hyped Arsenal backline and played a game more.  They're not easy pickings.

The line up that allowed us bring game changing subs on, that one.

lol You're not serious?? So the highlight of Cooper last week was going 2-0 down because we could bring Fatawu on? lol

This was the Cooper Out fantasy team

I think he was trying to keep this lot happy and it doesn’t work , let’s have more faith in the future.

True. Whilst the squad is limited, especially defensively, I do think we are good enough to stay up. I'm just not sure if Cooper is the man to oversee it. I don't have anything against him personally, he seems a nice bloke, but he just seem tactically limited which doesn't bode well for a someone in charge of a team that will be in a relegation battle.

If I don't defend him, am I still invited? Don't get out much and don't have any friends.

Ricardo was very rusty, but Fatawu has needed to start all season, both Kristiansen and Justin have been getting defensively smoked all season. I don’t see how switching JJ to the left was a bad choice. Even if we had Kristiansen and JJ as our 2 fullbacks, they still would have got destroyed today as they have been all season.

The starting 11 was the strongest we have played this season, but this was a massive off day for everyone.

Are you seriously thinking it’s the same when Fatawu starts then? lol Come on this is really not a difficult concept to grasp.

It’s not an issue with the 11 that started, it’s the lack of like for like signings in the summer to bring on that gave us no options tonight.

I genuinely don't know what you and the other people making that comment are saying. We were 2-0 down!! How do you look at that and go "yeah that was class, more of that please, we'll keep scoring 2 or 3 goals in the last 20-30 minutes of games"

It's crazy logic lol

A manager who can organise a defence would be nice.

I think it's become obvious that most of our defenders are nowhere near good enough for the EPL regardless of who's in charge, TBH.  I think that all we've done is shown up the gap between the Championship and EPL, again...
