You think we’re better or even on par with Wolves, West Ham, Palace, Everton. By season’s end no chance.

He’s such a downgrade on what this club needs.

He doesn’t speak like a top tier manager.
He sort of sounds like he’s a close mate to some of the players who has stepped in to try and do a job.

We all know it’s a matter of time until he’s gone.

Vichai wouldn’t have signed him. And even if he did, he’d have sacked him for Potter by now.

This club, quite frankly, is pathetic.

I’d love to know what he said to convince the board he was the man. At no one time as he ever came across as confident in the job he’s got to do

He was the only one to say "I'll take the job". And that was enough.

If/when the board fvck up again by either dithering or making another unsuitable appointment it will be interesting to see how that affects season ticket renewal for life in the championship again. There's those that are absolutely faithful and others who fear not being able to get a season ticket again if they relinquish but there are also a growing number of long term fans who are really disillusioned with the leadership at the club and football in general.

Nobody wanted the job because of the points deduction.... we were desperate so gave it to him.

The landscape has changed though and we need to act now whilst we still have time!  Potter, RVN  Moyes... all available and all a better option than this clown

Probably just didn't dispute Supreme Leader Rudkin's position. Whereas we know Potter wanted his own DOF

Agree. Can just about forgive the Club for appointing him. We all make mistakes. But to not see it was a mistake and not rectify it is plain bloody negligence beyond the call of duty.

Agreed.Top hasn’t got the heart or the balls to run the club like his Dad would have done.Would we be in this mess if Vichai was still alive?I doubt it very much.

I think I just typed what a few others were thinking if I’m honest.

I was just brave, or stupid enough to call it early!

The expected points have us 19th currently.

More performances like yesterday and that’s where we’ll be before long.

Cooper isn’t the problem. He’s a symptom.  Shocking planning and management from the board has left us with a poor and expensive squad which we cannot trade.

How many on here go to games? Cooper has had less than 20 games (including friendlies) and we still need to average a point a game to stay up, which is achievable. That is ok for this type of season (stay up at all costs).

Alternatives are what? Potter (sh1te), Robbins (cooper downgrade), Moyes (Cooper 2.0 and the new Big Sam).

Stick with Cooper and back the boys. Blame the board.

I go home and away, he's clueless and out of his depth. I always back the team, doesn't stop me wanting this cabbage to sacked immediately

Seeing that I can't reply in the Cooper In thread anymore, what are your thoughts now @Webbo @Claridge

I made points about our underlying stats being shit and you just pointed to our league position and just said "we'll be fine". Just wanted to get your updated thoughts? Our numbers are still shit, we've stopped over performing in terms of ppg and our league position is starting to slide.

Apart from Mads the players are poor and every defender has a large fxxk up in them every game. Can't see how a new manager changes much, especially the calibre that we could attract. I would stick with Cooper for now, but its a results game and he has to find wins.

He is currently getting hammered by Max Rushden and Barry Glendinning for his constant moaning about refs especially when they both noted how poor we were. Good news is the media seem to be seeing through him and his shite.

Post match analysis here. Maresca used Cooper's own system against him and made him look stupid!

Cooper doesn't need Marescas help on that front.

Realistically can you see any of the next 6 games we could possibly win. Cooper has not added a definitive  style of play, tactics are they any ? Does he inspire the players, apparently not as there does not seem a game plan.

Enzo was a brave call, but it worked. Cooper why?
2 more defeats the board will not have any options but to fire him and hopefully they have someone lined up

Ditto.

Not missed a league game this season and I wanted him gone weeks ago.

Yet to speak to anyone else at recent games that wants him to stay either.

Yes. Any of the next 5  to be honest. All the teams we are up against are beatable. But if we write off Brentford, Brighton and Newcastle due to Cooperball we still have a chance against West Ham and Wolves.  And for him to keep his job he needs to beat both.  Which'd both mean 6 points from 6 games and it'd mean taking maximum points from survival rivals.  Which is the only way he can be kept on.  That's how long we might have to wait.  Lose to Wolves, sack him, caretaker for Liverpool and Man City, new guy in for the new year. Merry Christmas.
