ozvaldo Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 I don’t know why anyone’s panicking. We’ve got Tom Cannon. 1 1 1
FoxinNotts Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Joking aside, I think he was probably up for coming to us, but he’s had a better offer, to stay in a country and surroundings he’s already comfortable in

They won't be in for any additional funds surely? Leeds paid £35-40m for him and selling him for the same amount.

Will claim "read it somewhere" that I saw that Hoffenheim were only able to attempt this deal due some further fee due on Rutters move to Brighton - crap deal by Leeds if so
beastfootballx Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Well guys if its any consolation heard that theres a small virus called monkeypox that could become a pandemic Call the season off

They sold Maximilian Beier to Dortmund for €30 million odd this week. 2

Can believe this is more likely the reason, as it seemed odd when I read Rutter sell on justified them moving for Hzolek (After their frontman got crocked) 1
enmac Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Time to look at free agents. Don't think we have any choice.

FoxesWalk Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Genuinely, just look at the championship and League One, might as well start preparing for next season. 2
jonny_wright Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 I don’t blame him tbh, why would you wanna sign for Leicester right now, career suicide 1

Samilktray Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Just had a look on google and Hoffenheim is a village in Germany with a population of about 3000? This man has chosen to play for a club the size of East Goscote, how do we recover from this 3
TommyK Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Surely step one of any transfer is making sure the players wants to come to the club ... How many times do you hear " X club has agreed terms with the player, now just need to agree a few". It's what agents are for. What the **** are we doing? 1

Additionally Hoffenheim is about 3 hours away from Leverkusen - so you can kind of understand why he might consider this a better offer for him. Final point - I believe it’s the German Supercup this weekend and he’s probably in the squad for that, so I wouldn’t expect a definitive move either way until after the weekend. 2
Silebyfox_89 Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Rudkin is like a hobo trying to get into the country club. Out his depth. We're fishing in the wrong pools without any bait, we need to realistic and target getable players not above £20 million. We've got to many holes to fix in the squad and we've not improved. Pretty much run out of time thanks to the rudderless direction of the club. 2

If you feel you need instant appeasing over a football signing and don't have the mental capacity to apply logic and critical thinking to any scenario. That's on you, not the club. 3
coolhandfox Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Sod it, don't want anyone who doesn't want to be here..

They are a miles better prospect than us.

winteriscoming Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 Genuinely could see us trying to get Kramaric back after all this.
Tielemans63 Posted 15 August 2024 Posted 15 August 2024 (edited) Just a thought: maybe in future we ask the player if he's actually interested before engaging in weeks of negotiations with other clubs? Edited 15 August 2024 by Tielemans63 1
