As well as he's doing, I genuinely believe we'd be struggling with him. We'd probably be like Saints (but not as bad), trying to pass it out and continually giving up goals and chances through our own misplaced passes.

No.

I think we probably would have finished quite comfortably lower mid table with him.

He's a very, very good manager. Some need to accept it.

Interesting to see if Ange lasts longer than either O'Neil or Losertegui after tomorrow.

It's only a year since Spurs fans were saying how much they enjoyed this brand of football.

It's been going on for years. Is it something in the water? I don't know. Anyway, I find it highly amusing. I might even visit the fightingcock for a bit of rubbernecking.

Fighting Cock is hilarious ATM :giggle:

A lot of the negatives about Enzo were related to some of the players not quite being good enough to play consistently how he wanted. He has some top players now who can deliver his ideas to a higher level. I wasn't sure about him going there but he's doing really well.

He has proved he can change it up

We'll never know:whistle:

Doing very well there though currently.

I think his attention to detail would have suited the Premier League more than the Championship. Feel like last year we were a bit over coached at times for games against teams like Sheffield Wednesday. But sure we'll never know.

People saying that we wouldn't be any higher in the table under Maresca have to be joking. We're where we are largely because of crap management until the last couple of games. Maresca is levels and levels above Cooper and this would have translated into better results so far this season.

The character of this Spurs side (all Spurs sides really) is remarkably un - Australian. I'll bet Ange absolutely despises his players.

Load of annoying workshy fannies? I'd argue it's remarkably Australian imo

You're probably right. They don't like losing though.

Potter to Spurs!

No way he gets a big job like that. He'll get West Ham or Wolves if he's lucky.

I really hate the lazy comparisons to Southampton. We put nine goals past them last season.

Martin is a clown, Enzo is a genuinely elite manager.
