Exactly because most of them are insufferable *****

Its so weird that we are seen as a club with one lucky season but they are seen as a ‘massive club, because they got lucky with one manager and won the European cup 2 times, the mainstream media lap it up to its weird, saying things like it would be nice to see a ‘proper big traditional club’ in the champions league, as opposed to which non proper club, and I didn’t hear them say the same about Huddersfield.

Seems to be a generational thing, a lot of people seem to treat 1970 and 1980s era as the true order of football.

Newcastle and Villa should do the business today. Both playing against teams that are on the beach which always tends to go with the team with some ringing to play for.

Yup was talked about on here the other week but most fans rate trophies won in the 70’s/80’s ahead of anything in the last 20 years for whatever reason

what do forest fans think of the Gary Neville stuff?

They back him

Then again if Top did the same here he’d still have at least 50% back him blindly

To be fair, Man U have a post season friendly in Kuala Lumpur to prepare for on Wednesday before the big tie with Hong Kong on Friday.

Not particularly surprising though.

They are on the verge of Champions league football so he will be seen as some kind of hero even if it’s taken a lot of money and good fortune to do it .

Mind you will it last and yes they do seem to have a real chip on their shoulder .

Their fans were already complaining about the officials appointed for the game beforehand

Will be interesting to see if Alexander-Arnold gets a warmer reception today(assuming he is subbed on) in light of Klopp’s comments the other day.

They've been so weird with Trent, it's all just very odd. One of their "own", having been a huge part of them winning everything.

The club is just as at fault for the deal being run down and he's now moving to arguably the biggest club in the world.

Yep, god forbid a player wants to experience something different while in his prime. Good luck to him, he’s won everything he can at Liverpool. It’s a bit like how some of our fans still hate Mahrez.

Our owner bans large numbers of the clubs support for criticising him!

How? You are criticising him. Are you "banned"?

Scousers are a weird bunch, the type that if you live on an estate up there they will call you a ‘grass’ for reporting child murdering gang scum to the Police.

This is probably true. There’s similar in my generation too (those of us who grew up with mid 2000’s football) who reminisce about a premier league with teams like Charlton, Wigan, and Bolton who were seen as pretty tinpot at the time.

I would rather have had our season than Spurs’s humiliation in the PL.

So relegation is better than survival and winning the Europa League!! Mind numbingly stupid statement.

Almost as stupid as looking at a poster with an Arsenal avatar called Torquay Gunner and thinking he's a Leicester supporter

Ha Ha. Your right. I did not see that. I blame Rudkin for me not being attentive to details. However Spuds won a trophy and Arsenal did not. The comment is still dumb.

Either way no matter your opinion spurs are crap and will never catch arsenal in terms of success ... so no matter what anyone says who really cares , arsenal are one of the biggest teams in England and none of us are in any position to mock them

Although their days since winning a cup is much less now!

I do agree with you historically. Things will always change but right now, nut sure spurs have what it takes to be top 4 in the next few seasons.

Got lucky this year winning europa to qualify but I don't suspect that will happen next year. Either way, a better position to be in than us, sadly!
