United certainly can't sink no lower, just seen they lost in their end of season friendly in Malaysia. Booed off by fans.

Open top bus tour went well.

I presume these clubs playing post season friendlies won't be complaining about too many fixtures and tiredness in a few weeks..

I'm not sure what's more embarrassing them playing "glory, glory man united" out loud or barely many in public actually watching them.

I have a feeling this summer transfer window will be a new record for money spent looking at rumours of players wanted. Liverpool will for a start spend north of £150m on just 2 players alone with Arsenal / Man C also looking to strengthen / rebuild.

I can also see the newly promoted and the other 8 also runs spending more than we’d normally see.

The funny thing is the league are concerned about the gap between the divisions with the last 2 seasons seeing all 3 promoted sides relegated without so much as a whimper yet they do nothing to level anything.
They will overlook Chelsea’s internal selling of assets, the fact that Man U will receive £100m+ for a soon to be 31yr old player which is twice his MV, Liverpool receiving £10m for a player with days left on his contract etc etc but will fight tooth and nail against those clubs that can’t bridge the gap, a gap that they are saying they are concerned about and hit them so hard it widens said gap.

I know a player will go for what a club is willing to spend for them but isn’t there also meant to be a fair market rate, who else in world football spend over £50m let alone £100m on Bruno F, why is a club so big spending  £10m on a player they won’t need to help them get out the group stages of the world club cup and could just walk in from 30th June and probably again not really needed for them to get to a final looking at all the other clubs, without some backhanded deal done between owners.

I really wished the breakaway league came about, anyone not able to guess who the top 6/7 will be in the 2025/26 season yet?

Kelleher going Brentford for £12mil+add ons

Would have been a decent move for mads if they had been interested team on the up and one step away from a big club if he had a good season.

Spurs are just a basket case of a club, whoever goes there will struggle.

Rohl would be up Brentford’s street but I think Fulham would go for a more tried and tested

The only lure for Frank could be CL football.  However, as Spurs are so ill equipped to compete in it, he would be better off staying put.

Cracking value considering what we got from Liverpool for the same amount…..

Seems a bit dodgy to me. Botafogo are in part of the same group as Lyon who Forest have sold £50m worth of players to last summer. Looks a bit like some of these owners are being clever at moving money around.

Must be nice….

Wolves going down at last.

The drop off they will need to do is so big I think this is unlikely.

They will make a decent profit on the few they sell should mean they can spend, if they do that relatively wisely I recon they will still be fine.

I'd rather be in their position, that they have that much value in their team. Like us 3-5 years ago
