Even if VAR thought it probably should stand, there's enough evidence that the contact was minimal on the leg so should be looked at again on the monitor so the ref can see it for himself.

Seen a few of your fans say it was a definitely a red and the ref was biased to them .

Maybe not as honest as you !

Just watched Bournemouth's stand-in striker score a hatrick as they put five past Forest, as their string of injured players watch on. Where did we go wrong?

So how come Calafiori escaped a second yellow against us at the Emirates?

Gooners are remarkably silent about the numerous bad calls that go their way.

I assume Oliver was n’t the referee, otherwise he would have gone!  Your second para, every fanbase would.

Yeah that was never a red card but I swear an Arsenal player could get a red card for Luis Suarez style handball to stop a certain goal and there'd still be Arsenal fans claiming the red card was all part of a bigger conspiracy against their club

Only the idiots, of which there are a fair few.

We wanted to sign that stand-in striker before he joined them...

Arsenal fans are right up there as the most delusional but that decision yesterday was a horror. Not a conspiracy though just incompetence that is highlighted because it's a big club.

Arsenal fans (especially on social media) are what people pretend Liverpool fans are like

Yes not sure it needs a full page article on the BBC website for example and no doubt endless replays on Sky .

That does scream big 4/6 media attention.

I mean they did win and the guy who came on at right back (?) scored the winner !

Shame for someone like Bournemouth as their great win will get no attention at all now.

That was never a red under current rules of course but I always thought those type of cynical fouls when a team breaks away feel like they deserve more than just a yellow since you are likely to stop a very good opportunity at scoring for the opposition.

Every team does is and the likes of Man City and Liverpool do it more than most.

Chelsea and Manchester City have been given a £40m-plus insurance policy against failing to qualify for next season's Champions League by their participation in this summer's Club World Cup.

That’s £40m just for turning up so they will get between that & £80m for winning it, comparable to CL winner securing £85m.

There is no ‘competition’ in football anymore when these teams are rewarded for failure.

Come October we will no doubt hear the chime of these managers being the 1st to whinge about to many games & player safety along with we couldn’t care less about any club further down the chain scrap all replays to look after our boys.

Obviously i'm delighted we've won and we're out of the relegation zone.

However, does this not highlight how shit and full of shit (Of which we play a major part) the Premier League is that previous to today we lost 7 consecutive games, that's 2.5 games short of a quarter of the season and we're not in the bottom 3, we're only (Albeit no where near) 16 point of midtable - Before someone misunderstands that comment; We'd lost 7 consecutive games, we'd lost 14 games in total, we should be dead and buried.

Tbh thought I was tbh, think you're missing the point, the fact we're out of the relegation zone and not dead and buried is the positive I was trying to make. I even thought i'd get laughed at making the point we are only 16 points of midtable and looking up the table, hence my caveat of explaining before anyone misunderstood. Don't let it get away from the fact this is a shit league and full of shit (As I reiterate, we play a huge part in).

Surely that's it for Postecoglou? Eight points from the relegation zone and looked horrific today.

McKenna seems like their kind of manager....

Ange has a horrific injury crisis to manage, but they look so fragile and beatable.  Tamworth saw it and nearly did them. The fact that we (after 7 losses) exploited it, will sicken them.

You have to think Ange is in deep trouble.

It's gross how big the jump from the Championship to the PL is.

The three promoted sides were streets ahead of the rest bar Leeds and all are struggling big time. If it wasn't for Wolves underperforming, then all would be nailed on for relegation after just half a season.

Same picture last season. Forest gambled big and would probably be sinking through the leagues had they not scraped survival.

PSR is probably largely to blame here.
