If he did get any offers from other clubs, he'd probably be checking out the walking distance between their car park and training pitchs before he could decide if he could be arsed to walk that distance. I'm half convinced the "good at winning free kicks" thing is a skill he's developed to get out of having to run with the ball. lol

It absolutely is. His lack of athleticism means there's no danger of him outrunning anyone so might as well make the most of it, let them come to him instead and then hit the deck like a sack of shit. Not necessarily a bad trick to have up your sleeve but unfortunately it's more or less the only one he has.

Think the hate for Ayew is OTT, he’ll do a job next season and did more last year than a lot of others…100% better than Daka.

Mathematical pedantry corner - it's impossible to be 100% better than nothing.

the game needs heroes such as "the water carrier", "the workhorse" and in Ayew's case.......... "the cock tease"

The Ayew rumour before he signed was depressing.

His overall performances were average at best.

Him playing in the Championship on a large wedge is our reality, poor planning and a dislikable squad.

If he was happy to stay and we could afford to keep him I think he would be a good option off the bench.

Whilst he may not have the legs, he does have a good football brain and I think he would bring some calm onto the pitch if we needed it. If I had the choice, I’d keep him over Daka.

He 100% gives that vibe, and reckon his dad at 60 would have been a better option for us last season.

Unlucky not to score and that run for Daka's chance, holy moley. Soumare apologists claim he has that in his locker, but a carthorse like Jordan was able to bulldoze his way further down the wing in one game than Boob has in his entire sorry career for us. lol

He's going to have a good season.

Standard Ayew.  Can’t hold the ball up, just smashed it back.  Hit and hope from everywhere ignoring players in space and when he does a good run, holds onto the for too long looking for a foul rather than being others into the game.

He won’t change and I don’t expect anything different other than a goal or two.

The performances first and second half were night and day.

He’s better in a two behind Daka personally.

Yeah the issue has never been application or attitute, more the fact we spent actual money on him and he's a year or two away from being in an urn on someone's mantlepiece

He was never the signing we should have been making last year it was a poor signing. However he’s here now and will do well in this league.

He's gonna be more important than people think.  I'm not saying he should be our first choice striker.

Quality players keep the ball and he does this, especially at this level

He’s not a striker, he was everywhere but where he should be and he slows too many attacks down. He had some good moments but overall he was hinderance to our attacks.

As soon as as Daka was on and moving like an actual striker we caused more problems.

He’s never deserved the boos last season and some of the abuse he’s got. He’s not perfect but he absolutely works his arse off whenever I see him. Probably be quite important this season.
