Glover. Rudkin will have been too busy working on contract extensions for Luke Thomas, Hamza and Danny Ward or working out how to move the KP horses around the Uk

Not Rudkin, he only gets attached to the bad signings. Anything positive isn’t him.

Playing for a PL team is giving him "a chance". And fair does, he's looking as though he "may" become top notch [note the "may" which you missed in the first post]

He is getting better and better. He has something about him. First few games was too lightweight but now he looks like a player. We need to add more of his quality.

I know you said this tongue in cheek but let’s look at the trends of Cooper and his time here, the man was obsessed with quoting “PL experience” so you can easily rule him out for any involvement in BEK’s signing.

 

Rudkin is a bit more iffy to say either way but it’s clear to say that with the big step up required….our summer window was extremely poor and that does lay at Rudkin’s door.

When you see the slow growth of him over an in and out of the team in the 1st half of the season to that performance yesterday at £20m.

And we have Oliver Skipp on the bench at £20/25m, it just makes you cry.

IF the Skipp money had been spent as well, we probably would have a very decent chance of staying up.  Now we have a Championship player that we'll be lucky to get rid of for £10/£15m.

 

Why do most of the fans know, that was the team we should be playing for the last month or two, injuries notwithstanding.

Bilal was excellent yesterday.  We have some small hope, with some added defensive improvement.  If they can manage that level consistently.

Hard to know whether he would stay if relegated.

 

On the one hand, he has a decent length contract and will cost big to take him away. Also, if we were under an embargo, we would have to keep players we may have sold and replaced. Add to that, Hermansen would leave but would that be enough financially?

 

But then Bilal has already played at a decent level in Belgium and internationals and has come to us as a Premier League side. You already feel we are

a stepping stone so might be too much to ask to keep him.

 

Harder to judge than Hermansen who would be a cert to go or even Fatawu who due to injury, you’d imagine would certainly stay.

I thought he was the best player on the pitch. Composed, confident, has a little bit of arrogance about him which is needed.

Made De Bruyne look average. I thought we looked like a Premiership team for the first time this season and the stats proved this, the only team to have more possession than City this year, hope it continues.

I ’may’ become the worlds richest man, it’s very clearly never going to happen but it could.

 

You said he could be better than Modric mate lol you’ve got to read that back and see it’s a wild thing to write.

Loved some of his close footwork and being able to spot a pass across the other side of the pitch. 

He's so confident on the ball and for a 20y/o he's ridiculously intelligent. 

 

Give him better wingers to play with and we'd be cooking.

I agree with both in the side they complement each other and our opponents have two very creative players to close down and mark one will always have a bit more space and time to deliver killer passes or driving runs.
