If we broke it last year in The Championship, I think the point deductions are only added once you drop back into the EFL.

But surely based on winning the appeal we would have been a premier league club at the end of the financial year

Totally unrelated

Charges are unrelated but judgements like this blow holes in things apart from just what you are facing. Their legal teams will be reading through this and finding anything they can use, even if it just kicks the can down the road a few more years.

Not according to the PL/EFL but they will be checking the wording of the rules very closely now!

remember that we forced the -10 points rule change when we went into admin.  Trail blazers !!!

am I interpreting this correctly...... relegation saved us?!

Makes you wonder if they did it on purpose - it certainly felt like it at the time. None of us, or most of the footballing world for that matter, could understand how such a talented group of players managed to play so poorly over the course of the season.

or they have played a blinder and knew what they were doing

Hahahaaha yeah they cheated the rules 3 years ago because they knew a lawyer was going to find a technicality to not punish them. Also, our argument wouldn’t even be valid had we not got relegated so you’re saying their plan was to go down?

Are you suggesting that buying Danny Ward was deliberately pressing the self destruct button?

Top, Rudkin and big Suze are bloody geniuses

So, no punishment is likely, then?

This might, psychologically, be big for the players.
