Not sure what would be worse, Monga is never to be seen and just joins Man City or we get treated to an appearance from him tomorrow, get excited by his potential and then he joins Man City.

Ha, as has previously been pointed out you probably picked the worst team in the league to put in Homer's place lol

Didn't know about their training ground, I had 3 teams in mind Brighton, Bournemouth and Fulham. All got more points than us .So point still stands

The former because if he plays tomorrow and does very well, it all adds to his value that will be set at tribunal if we failed to accept any fee from a club trying to sign him. I want £75m minimum.

Play him tomorrow let's see if we can have a Joe Waters moment as in 1974, 50 years on, remember it well, bloody hell I must be getting old.

So if he does play for out first team, does that mean we'd get more money for him?

Unfortunately he’ll have a much better chance of making it if he moves pretty much anywhere else so I absolutely can’t begrudge him wanting to leave as let’s be fair, we kill young players careers so they are right to get out whilst they are young enough.

The club deserve to lose these guys like Nyoni and Monga for nothing.

Bit OTT this isn't it?

If he's good enough, he'll be given chances wherever he is.

Not really, we seem very very behind. Yes we have had the likes of Barnes, KDH and Chilwell but even then, the hard work has been done by the sides they have been on loan to.

When was the last time we actually put faith in our youth players who weren’t already established by other sides?

Sorry, when you have 9 substitutes you can name, there is zero excuse for not using one or two of those players for youth players. In fact, when it was increased from 7 to 9, this should have been made a condition that the extra two were club grown.

I doubt Nyoni would have made any appearances for us by now if he'd stayed. It helps to have smaller high quality squads, we fill ours out with so much crap we daren't even put an academy player on the bench of 9 players.

This is where Rudkin fails us most in my opinion. The one area he has some credibility is in building an academy and I'd expect a culture here from him as Director of Football and Academy Director that our non negotiable priority is bringing academy players through.

Yet it evidently isn't and I'm sick of the lot of them. I really wish I could have a brain transplant to stop caring.

Literally wouldn’t hurt anybody giving this lad a runout on Friday.

Give him 15/20 mins. Especially at a place like Old Trafford. Just let him run at players and have fun.

I’d be more inclined to start the lad. Tell him he has no pressure, go out and enjoy it. Let’s see what he can do.
