Very good dribbler but overall miles off it, zero end product and struggling to do the basics.

Cash in whilst his stock is still high because he’s getting worse and worse in this shower of a team.

Yeah, he's too young to criticise really but beyond beating (one) man, he can't do much yet. Can't seem to think more than one step ahead.

Careful about saying anything negative about the academy lads

There’s plenty of negative posts in the match thread because they were fair lol.

Let’s be honest he was pretty poor today. But all part of the learning experience and we bizarrely setup for our wingers to get one on two opportunities. Absolutely zero support from LB tonight either from an attacking perspective.

He's great at dribbling past a player or enough to create himself a bit of space.  He needs to learn how to utilise that correctly once he's done it.  You'd get him there through coaching and game time, and he'll likely get neither.

Yep very true and story of our season. The Cifuentes system just leaves the Wingers isolated and allows teams to double / triple up on them which is criminal considering the options we have on the wings (looking at their performances last time we were in this League and the potential of Monga).

Not a great game. But did anyone play well? Not really. Had a few nice moments but it’s difficult for a winger to do anything when there’s no-one in the box.

said it in another thread but compare him now to the Monga that first came into the side.

He seems to have lost his freedom & spark a little. I don’t really blame him as he is so young and playing in a rotten set up. He’ll get no help from his LB either.

Freedom? The ball arrives at him most of the time with the opposition defense set and 3 players on him!

See West Brom's goal and imagine Monga having that space!

The reason the wingers have been crap which includes Fatawu, Mavididi and Monga is they have no one to genuinely play with.

The Ayew hold the ball to long and goes backwards, BDCR can't pass it to a player in blue.

Whoever plays left wing has to deal with Thomas or Hamza to pair up with.

Think he is still playing school boy football wanting to take the whole team on, greedy on the ball, lost possession every time he had the ball. I blame the coach more than him

He was made to look poor tonight, He has the ball and beats his man and has Jordan ****ing Ayew standing around doing nothing. He started well against a physically much larger USA international defender and put him on his backside numerous times!
Ryan mason seen the way he was beating Campbell and he was instantly doubled if not tripled upon as soon as he received the ball!
He will go on to much better things than being tactically ruined like so at the minute

No coincidence that Mavididi looks like a league one player on the same spot

The same Mavididi that set up our winner?
