Well this is just nonsense.

The limitations of Steve Cooper, his track record, tactics and the reasons for wanting  change have been discussed in fine details going round in circles ad nauseum.

On the other hand, I am yet to see any semblance of a counter-argument whatsoever.

I do admit, if he won the next three, I would be more positive though. But the reality is ... well, what you just wrote.

I remember watching the 0-9 at the pub with my wife! It was amazing! We came home, my mother-in-law (who was watching the boys) greeted us, and my dog wagged his tail, and barked hello! The dog died in his sleep that night, and it is now the only thing I can remember about that game. It was a great game, but the dog was a great dog...

We set up last season perfectly for this mob. Aggregate scoreline was lots to us and not many for them.

I fear today they will play around us and we won’t have enough weapons to hurt them on transition - cos that’s what soton give you - lots of transitions

we aren’t sacking a coach with 6 points from 8 games

Over the course of a season if we kept that form going 28-29 points would be accrued that won’t be enough to stay up so why not sack him sooner rather than later?

Based on the tenure of our owners.  The only coaches who didn’t get long at the start of a campaign were Sousa and shakey.  Mind you, Shakey’s record was 1-3-4 when he was sacked after GW8 ……… ( and the four defeats were against rich six opposition). My recollection of that period was the football was desperate- just kick it long for vards to chase and hope something drops for us.).

If we got smashed by 5 today then they may think ‘oh, I wonder if Steve is really the right fella’.

We have enough weapons on the transition, the issue is our esteemed manager won't play them and we will have to suffer another 90 minutes of Ayew hobbling around and occasionally falling over.

That’s what I meant

This is massive for them. Hopefully plays into our hands and we dismantle them on the break like we have done before.

This is what concerns me - it’s huge for them a bit like we needed a win against Bournemouth. They have that going on but magnified. I’m concerned they’ll be on us like an rash and turn us over. If they are playing for Brussell, I think they could win. If they’re not arsed and know it’s a matter of time before there’s a change I think we stand a good chance.

Coopers selection will be interesting today. Will he be negative and go with likes of Ayew from the start? I’m also concerned that Buanonnotte isn’t available.

We’re going to make Ben Brereton Diaz look like prime Zamorano.

There are certain quality strikers in the championship I really liked who could 'potentially' do it at the top level but then when they get their pemier league move their shortcomings get found out.

Brereton Diaz is a classic example.

But yeah, today he'll be a prime  Zamorano Salas hybrid

Are you willing to sacrifice any other family members for a massive win?

This is Rudkin's fault is it not?

I thought this is why we all want him out, because of his handling on transfers and contracts.

Can't have it both ways. Can't blame Rudkin when we like the manager but then don't blame Rudkin when we don't like the manager.

For me the question is has Cooper chose these players or is Rudkin choosing them and negotiating contracts because if he is then the blame is totally rudkins for buying over the hill and way beyond their best players ... for me I'd sooner have a hungry for success young player than a so called experienced has been who has absolutely no sell on value   . Will be happy to sit games out and run his contract down

Absolutely.  . Go for the jugular.... NOT  the juggler which might mean we also have some clowns .... but on second thoughts ... I'll leave that with you to decide 😂

I too have zero confidence in Rudkin & his cronies doing a good job of replacing Cooper. As long as we can stay away from the drop zone I think we are best to stick with Cooper until the Summer. I realize the football will be shit but I'm OK with that as long as we stay up.

Maybe Top might have an epiphany by then & tie a can to Rudkins ass at the same time.

Does anyone know if rudkin has a contract or how long it is ...  because its for certain he is far to arrogant to do the decent thing and walk     his player purchasing and contract negotiations are abysmal and until he is gone ... it will be one bad decision after another bad decision.. but nobody pays the price        only the fans
