The 'And now your Leicester City side' soundbite is honestly a core memory. He was there for it all. RIP.

This is what is in my head hearing the news as well. Very sad.

Particularly during those Champions League evenings. Chills!!

If i'm at the club right now i'm asking the families permission to play that clip at the weekend, and then simply showing the players on the screen with no sound/readout whatsoever. A sort of silent tribute.

We wont of course...

Awful and shocking news. Brad was a school friend of mine, and I’ll always remember sharing our woodworking bench and getting so many tellings off for messing about, and doing impressions of our teacher.

It’s always been a source of pride that he got his dream job as stadium announcer (and a sign of the decline of the club that he lost it).

A lovely bloke, taken way too soon, RIP Brad  💙💔💙

Yes indeed grew up near the Varnham family close to Knighton Park never really knew Brad but knew his brother Elliott quite well

What really galls me is it feels like we have a minutes silence/applause at every game but there’ll most likely be nothing for a man who was so significant to the fans for over a 1/4 of a century. No mention on the club site 🙄.

I went through almost my entire school years knowing Brad, lovely bloke from a lovely family. Shocking news 💙

The ****ing statement makes it sound like he still worked for us!!!!

”his presence on matchdays will be sorely missed by players, staff and supporters alike”

Im absolutely seething at that! Smacks of AI that hasn’t been checked!

RIP remember it being a surreal as a kid hearing my own name announced around the ground by him when I was a mascot!

It would be a nice if the club could have a plaque or something at the ground to commemorate his contributions.

Incredibly sad, a staple of the matchday experience for decades.

A decent bloke, and a big City fan. RIP Brad.

(This isn't the time for digs against the club etc)

Maybe he was on sick leave?

Does anyone know why he wasn’t Pa last season? Could this have been due to illness and not been got rid of like many suggested?

I don’t believe this happened due to illness.
