A decent RB. Milan Van Ewijk from Coventry would be doable and probably wouldn't be ridiculously expensive. We're likely to need a long-term replacement for Ricardo. 

 

I like the idea of Ziyech on loan and think he'd certainly be an upgrade on what we have. 

 

Then at least one, if not both, of Buonanotte and Edouard are going back to their parent clubs. If we get Ziyech in on loan, then Ferguson could be an interesting option up front.

 

I would have said that we should go in from Adamo Nagalo from RVN's old club PSV. Looked at by Brighton and very decent apparently, but also injured.

Miro Muheim is having an extremely good season at Hamburg. 10 assists in 17 games from left back.

 

Tim Lemperle from Koln is leaving on a free in the summer so could be got for a small fee. Looks a very capable young striker.

I don't think we need a CB, we need more control in our midfield, Winks, Soumare and Bilal are okay, but we need another with strength and vision, we need a better ball playing RB that can defend and come into midfield, we need a striker who can take pressure off Vardy.

Rensch - Ajax - 21 - Dutch RB ... Starts for Ajax

Boscagli - PSV - 27 - French CB ... Starts for PSV

Reguilon - Spurs - 28 Spanish LB ... Doesn't get games for Spurs, previously loaned to Man Utd/Brentford

Angel Gomes - Lille - 24 English Mid ... Probably unrealistic, probably still pricey

Bischof - Hoffenheim - 19 German Mid ... Young, Cheap?

Ziyech - Galatasary - 31 - Moroccan winger ... Already said he will never play for Gala. In limbo a bit. Seems an arse. Also is a good player.

David - Lille - 24 - Canadian Striker ... No chance really, but this is a list innit!  See Angel Gomes.

 

Not 6 months but...

Valentin Gomez ... Just put him in cos he seems like it might be a done deal already.

Banzuzi - Leuven - 19 Dutch CDM ... He's a big prospect, he's Dutch and he's at our sister club.

Barry - Villa - 21 English LW/Forward ... Been great at L2 and L1 level for Stockport, great goals record off the left wing this season. A gamble if Villa are open to let him go.

Sell/loan

 

Faes - should make profit on him

Edouard and Buonanotte - return 

Ward - tie him to something until contract expires 


We still have 2 non English loan spots so could use loan details with option/requirement if we stay up. Many will think this is unrealistic but the reality is we need to improve our squad if we want to stay up. If we don’t we’re in big trouble.

 

For the record I really rate Buonanotte. My reason for him going back is because I think Brighton either want him back (so they can sell) or RVN doesn’t see his as his winger option or number 10. If that’s the case it’s pointless to take up a loan spot for someone not starting

Right back. Absolutely essential.

 

Centre Back  the ones we have just are not good enough. We need one who can dominate set pieces and who is a good communicator on the pitch. Probably need to offload 1 or 2 of the current lot though to make this happen.

 

Defensive ball winning midifelder... We simply have to be more combative in the middle of the pitch.  Need to stop teams having so many chances. If Ndidi could stay fit this would be less of an issue but that doesn't look that likely.

 

Attacking wide player. We simply don't have any quality there right now. I'd say this is second priority after a right back.

 

Striker.  need a different but effective option here. Someone who can actually hold the ball up and link up play.  Send the palace lad back asap.

Presumably we could still sell him if an offer for a permanent move came in.
