Some of you don’t seem to know that RVN had a relatively successful year at PSV last season. Some of the comments make it seem like RVN has had 4 games as manager and that’s it..

People on here just have a fetish for shit British managers and lack ambition. They can't bare the thought of actual tactics.

Hadn’t both West Brom and Huddersfield both been in the prem up to a few seasons before his appointment. So whilst both teams might have been underperforming, they were still attracting a fairly good calibre of player due to the parachute payments compared with other teams budgets?

I’m a mention of Warnock away from climax here.

My order of preference for the vacant managerial role at Leicester City Football Club (I've just caught up on the thread lol).

Schmidt - unlikely any decision makers have heard of him

Corberan

RVN

Carsley

Moyes/Potter

Glad I’m literally not the only one pushing for Schmidt.

Baffling he’s getting so little attention.

Where would he jump ship? Unless a top 6 premier league managerial position becomes available, I think he would stay for the foreseeable with us.

Lol.. In 12 months both manure and Chelsea will be looking!

That is unless enzo wins 3 trophies this season then it may be 18 months in their case.

Yep Schmidt should be a top priority, he won't even be a thought unfortunately.

So that means we shouldn't try and get Alan Curbishley in right?

Bring Megson home. Or that farmer bloke, whasisname? Holloway?

As opposed to Carsley having the entire country to choose from ;)

We know what he did here, the point was National youth games aren’t really a good barometer.

He could be amazing, he might not. It’s a massive massive punt.

I totally agree,

What draws me to Ruud is he's not doing it for the money. That's a rare quality to find in someone who has already made a fortune, Yet still wants to test themselves at the Top of the Game.

Holland has puched above it's weight for a long time. That's down to the players they produce and the Coaches who produce them.

He could be a dream signing as Manager and the evidence supports that I'd say.
