The other problem with RVN is Edouard doesn't play, and he's fallen out with Facu so our two precious PL loan spots are not being effectively used.

Unless he changes up the formation quickly to start getting the best out of the squad he has, he needs to go.

He didn't really play under cooper either. Think thats on the club not Ruud.

But the Facu thing is a bit odd, however i do understand a bit, in his 1st game against West Ham he kept giving the ball away and has done that a lot since Ruud has been here. I'd have him in the team but that is what I think Ruud is thinking.

You have to think, after 8 losses in 9 and no incomings to speak of (I aint counting Coulibaly), a parting of the ways feels inevitable.

Pressure will build with every fixture so it's just a question of whether Ruud jumps or is pushed.

Oh well, at least the planning for next season can get started and we will be ready to hit the ground running on the first day of pre-season. Yeah right!

Changing the manager won't make one bit of difference. The squad is simply not good enough. I can see it, you can see it, everyone can see it. Every except for the board, it would seem. Signing a £3m nobody who spent most of his career in the Italian 2nd division is not going to change our season.

Unfortunately, it's not really in his interest to walk out. If he's already left 1 job after 'falling out' with the board, if he does so again, no matter how justified, that's going to really harm his rep, probably more than getting relegated will.

He goes on a losing run that is worse than present eg loses 15 out of 16 league games which could happen , he won’t have a reputation as a manager left, he will be finished.Goes now citing the club sold him a pup, and he will get another chance.

he wasn't the right man for the job, didn't have the right CV BUT I do feel some genuine sympathy for him from what has happened over the last 34 days.

He's been given no chance with a Championship level squad that can't defend.

On the chopping block for me as long as he continues with the same tactics

I can understand if he is frustrated about the lack of transfer business but he is not helping himself or us if he is being so stubborn about his tactics that clearly don’t work with our squad

Actually respect him more if he does walk. Pussy

It would be funny and would embarrass King Power in Thailand which is what they absolutely despise.

When was the last time a manager walked in the Prem?

Changing the manager this season already has made a massive difference. Went from relatively safe, scoring almost every game and being unbeaten against our so called rivals to a complete catastrophe

Yeah I gave him a pass early doors because there wasn't enough evidence to suggest he was contributing to the problems, but I'm not gonna sit and defend a guy that's sticking with a system that consistently fails with the available group of players.

He showed promising signs early doors of being adaptable and willing to make changes where necessary. But the longer he's heard the less flexibility he is showing.

If we don't see a change in system against Man Utd, which is essentially a free hit then we can all happily resign ourselves to relegation (pretty much there anyway after the window closed)

We'll never know if we would have been in a better position if we kept Cooper, but one thing is for certain.

Cooper's summer transfer window has well and truly ****ed us this season.

So based on that evidence I think we're ****ed whoever is in charge.

Also you've conveniently forgotten that Ruud has been without Ndidi, Fatawu and Ricky for all our games and Mads the vast majority.

I have such little faith in us to find the right manager, I just don't think I care either way.

RVN has been poor, but he's had no help they've kind of hung him out to dry, it might of made no difference but at least we could say we tried.

If I had some faith in the powers that be to actively go and find a good manager I would want a change and to be honest if we can't afford to buy players we can't afford to buy out a good manager from another team so we are back to unwanted cast offs.

I think its probably best to just let him see it out go down regardless and then try and buy out Danny Rohl or someone similar in the summer.

We relied on both Ipswich and Southampton getting stupid red cards and imploding in both games. They were both incredibly comfortable against us till their reds.

wish everyone would stop the bloody walk nonsense- he should have been sacked weeks ago- should not even be in debate about him being able to walk- he is an absolute fraud just like the players- get him gone

I think Lopetegui left wolves just before the start of last season because of transfer issues, may be wrong.

Maybe time for  Ruud making us defensive first and leave pace up front for counter attacks? Bilal, Buonatte, Stephy and Daka over Vardy. I know the latter is heresy, but we can’t play counterattacking football with Vardy anymore. He’s too slow for anything other than fast sprints. He’s our best striker but our attack as a whole could be speedier without him. Defend. Gerrit forward. Has to be better than a philosophy that ships goals 🤷🏻‍♂️
