We either gamble with an experienced manager ala Dyche or go for someone in the championship : the likes of Marti Cifuentes and/ or Tom Cleverley.

Ruud needs to light a fire under the players. The effort being shown by many is just unacceptable. Call them out and name them even if it's just amongst the squad.

Soumare's effort to block the cross for the first goal was appalling,  Players standing around in the box but challenging nobody.

Kicking it out to touch for no reason and no effort to get back when they broke and nearly got a third goal.

I don't see any point in changing him now. Lets just have a clearout in the Summer.

If he does go give it to BBM and King to see out the season. Maybe they might show enough to get the job fulltime.

You mean the same Ruud that rewards bad performances with continued selection into the starting 11?

Worst manager in the clubs history. We're literally being mocked over social media and during our match commentary.

If I gave enough of a sh1t about the club right now, I'd be embarrassed.

I have some sympathy with Ruud because he's been handed a terrible squad to work with. But his persistence with players who do not give a shit about our club and will not break sweat to try to help us avoid relegation is wearing incredibly thin. So what if you think Faes and Soumare are the best players we have in their positions? They don't care and aren't trying, so don't pick them! Watching a team of such poor quality is bad enough without being forced to watch disinterested arseholes do the bare minimum so they can avoid injury and get a move in the summer. Surely we must still have a few players at the club who actually want to play for us?!

From his post match interview he suggested that for the last run of games (all defeats against so called lesser teams, some of whom were in and around our league position) the team was set up to not lose and more defensive and now he wants us to take the initiative and really take it to the opponents in the upcoming games against the teams that are at the top end of the league......... well that's going to go well! You couldn't make it up.

Ruud won't walk for two reasons.

1. Dollar

2. After walking out on one club, the look would not be good to do it a second time.

Also when he walked from PSV he had the argument that he had done well then wasn't being supported so left. He couldn't argue that he has done well here and walking just looks like jumping before you were pushed and helps him in not way what so ever

1 win in 12   🤣🤣🤣🤣

What the feck

11 losses from 12 isn’t it - how on earth does anyone not get sacked for that - he must have something on them

I'd have a great deal of sympathy for anyone, including Ruud, presented with this clown-school of a squad, if only he gave any indication of giving a sh1t.

Love Leicester City but hate this f'kin squad. I've time for Wilf,  Vards obviously and JJ, none are playing well but they've produced for us before. Get the season gone, get the clowns and Ruud gone, build next year around Bilal, Nelson, Alves, Braybrooke,  Abdul, get Monga and Evans fully integrated with the first team with significant game time, find the centre back that does for Nelson what Huth did for Morgan. Find a nasty B'STARD to play in midfield to make Championship sides think twice about kicking the kids round the park

Unfortunately the truth is we'll start next year with more of this lot stinking the place out than not

But just do something!!!!! There was  a decent LCFC, midfield at the game last night, shame it was Kingy, Lennon and Savage.

Worst LCFC top flight squad. Yes and then some. Taylor's team got 28 points, Mclintock's 29 from 42 with 3 points for a win. Either's a big big ask for this bunch

Too early for Kingy, no idea who we turn to even if they want it. Taking no sh1t more important than style of football right now

The only way a manager survives that is if his bosses have decided that the problem doesn't lie with him - ie,  Top and Rudkin have accepted that the squad (yes, the one they assembled) is rotten to the core and that there's nothing Ruud can do about that. It wouldn't surprise me if the plan is still to have Ruud in charge of the clear out and rebuild.

The squad is not great - he hasnt been able to really add in January. However, this run which is the worst I can remember as a fan of this club, is down to his style and stubborness. His players were not professional yesterday. Forget motivated. They were not professional. An absolute disgrace. If he cannot get them to be the basic, he shouldnt be here. He is now staying for a subtantial payoff - makes him a twat - regardless of the for and against arguments. He has failed.

At what point does RVN get the chop? We've had better managers than him, by comparison, who have been ditched well before this.

I really can't understand the need for carrying on with him.

Ruud spoke with Enzo. Enzo gave a positive recommendation. The club and Enzo misrepresented the squads ability and mentality for this division. Ruud thinks JC himself couldn’t turn this squad into even cheap supermarket wine so Ruud has decided why stress about it. There’s nothing I can do.

Makes sense with the gulf to those teams is about 15-20 points

“We were too passive”

”We sat too deep”

Sitting deep looked a clear tactic in the first half, so either Ruud gave them no instructions to push further up the field, or the players are simply not listening to him.

He also mentioned about taking initiative and pressing, we didn’t really do that until Mavididi came on. While our press has been pretty non existent all season, we are the third worst team in the league when it comes to PPDA(Passes per defensive action).

Apparently he was urging them forward in the first half and then throwing his hands up in the air in disgust when they didn't make the runs, so it seems it may be this.

Players work managers out quickly, they aren't following instruction because they don't believe in him or his methods

That seems to be a bit of a pattern with our squad though, doesn't it? Rodgers, Cooper and now RVN. The appointment of Maresca, which probably owed more to luck than judgment, was merely a temporary reprieve from a depressing sequence of managers failing to get our players to do even the basics...

Trouble is ,alot of those disinterested arseholes will still be here next season ,there lies the problem  any new manager  faces.

With how deep we sat, it was virtually impossible to play more forward in the first half. Buonanotte, El Khannouss, Reid and Vardy are not the type of players who can advance you up the pitch. Buonanotte and El Khannouss are not strong ball-carriers, Reid lacks pace and 1 vs 1 ability and Vardy has lost a couple of yards of pace.

They might not be to Premier League standard, but when you’re being forced back, you need outlets who possess pace. Therefore he has to start Mavididi and Daka more often.

As you can probably tell, I’m still a little bit frustrated after last night lol

I was sat in the gods last night in the West Ham end.  Gave a different perspective of the pitch.

You could see one team had clear objectives of how they wanted to play and basically we didn't.

West Ham clearly happy to leave Wan bissaka and the other guy out wide, so always had an out ball.  Our fullbacks and wide men couldn't deal with it.  Our tactic was to stay narrow and our press was shit.

RVN thinks we did better 2nd half, West Ham just took the foot off the gas.

No matter what you think about the players, he is a shit coach
