I just hope people give him a chance. We are near the bottom of the table with some injury issues and a few players brought in by the previous guy who don't seem to cut it.

At least let him bring in some players and have a chance to instil his own game plan.

The other footnote is that we probably now all have to want Amorim to do well at Man United (Ewwww ) , because if RVN does any kind of decent job here whilst Man United's form goes further down the gurgler, they come calling for RVN and he'll jump ship.

Gwon Ruud. :scarf:

I’ve already seen enough of RVN to not start the out thread immediately

Genuinely think he’ll do well. See similarities with Southampton getting rid of Atkins and appointing Pochetino. Obviously it’s a risk but I see it as going for someone who we think will keep us up and kick on next season. Would have been very easy to go for someone like Robins and planning either way for relegation or stopping up. I like the positive approach.

So excited to have him managing our football club. After listening to that interview, he just exudes class, calm, confidence, and assured. He’ll earn respect as soon as he walks through the door. He'll know more than anyone it’s a tough job but I think he's got what it takes. Let’s bring back the feel-good factor. Steer us to safety, Ruud!

Definitely but for me it’s only really a hard job the first season, if the funds are there then if you believe in yourself as a manager we’re kind of a blank canvas to push on start challenging the lower European spots again

What a fantastic first interview

The upgrade is astonishing.

How didn't we just opt for him in the summer?
