Terrible result that but it was a dead rubber really.

The next 3 for Ruud are massive. Huge job on his hands, players need to shift their mindset and efforts and we just have to hope that he can stop the rot, shape our defence and get us playing some positive football again.

Time for the senior players and leaders to do their thing, we failed at that when we went down before, they all went hiding.

Things we don’t…..

Theres still enough in this squad to do well. When you’re in poor form it’s never going to look good.

We’ve actually looked good at times this season, it’s only seriously wavered in the last few weeks, which coincided with Coopers exit…. This team lacks any organisation, tactical structure or decent coaching. If Ruud can deliver those three things, we will be fine.

A fair few teams in this league man for man, aren’t actually that good, but they’re well drilled and well organised which will always get you results.

I admire your optimism, and genuinely

( obviously ) hope you are right, but have to disagree. We are just a poor squad.

If we are going to give anything to the useless shite from the players, setting up with 5 at the back with Ayew, Vardy and Buonanotte as our front three to counter with is… something

Coops stock could go up massively if Ruud can’t get a tune out of these shitcunts.

Apart from the fact he was entrusted with the clubs transfer kitty and spent it on a pile of shite that aren’t even being selected

Defence is shot.  Not even Coady can fix it.

Coady has been shite ever since he stepped foot in the door. What a waste of time he’s been. Couldn’t give two shits if he’s ‘nice to have around the dressing room’.

This just reinforces my fears all along that we have an extremely low quality squad and really expecting nothing much to change unfortunately and that’s no disrespect to Ruud.

You can’t polish a turd, and spraying it gold doesn’t mask the stink!!!

I'd go along with that. The notion that we're a mid-table side being held back by Cooper was always utter nonsense. I totally understood his sacking, but people need to be realistic about our squad's limitations. To me, it's the worst KP-era squad since the pre-January 2012 days.

I don’t want to see Dawson here even as a coach and he can take that Andy guy who’s meant to be a set piece specialist. What has he improved? It’s probably our worse performance of the season. Dawson made cooper look like Ancelotti

It was definitely the worst performance of the season. We barely kept the ball.

Shows how bad we were when Thomas was probably our best defender

Thomas was our best defender!

But Vesty was ok too. His was also our best passer today.

Pathetic. It really was. Set up to avoid defeat against some of the best pressing teams in the league. Their centre halves were 70 yards up the pitch for most of the first half. So many individuals that just look like they don’t care. So many individuals that aren’t good enough.

Thomas probably our best player which says enough. Vardy did ok and Buonanotte was alright in the first half. The rest, the less said the better.

We seemed scared to go forward. Every time we had the ball in what could’ve been a promising break, we went backwards. Had about 5 minutes in total all game of pressure on them. Weak in the tackle, weak in the mind. Little creativity with players seemingly not knowing what they were doing. At least when Mavididi came on he actually looked to be a bit direct and run at them.

Post Cooper, pre Nistelrooy meltdown!

What did you all expect - that a rudderless team was going to suddenly come to life during the one game where the reins were handed to a bloke who's not a manager?

Nistelrooy will now know the task ahead of him. Let's hope that he displays the necessary strength of character and charisma to bring player egos into line and the tactical nouse to choose the optimum team and make changes when necessary - not when the clock dictates. I'm hopeful - not much, but his reputation seems to indicate a forceful man who is demanding of his players. It's what's needed.

We ain't keeping the ball with that midfield. N'didi and Soumare are absolutely clueless with the ball. And not much better without it
