I admire your optimism, and genuinely

( obviously ) hope you are right, but have to disagree. We are just a poor squad.

It can look like that at the moment, but it really isn’t that bad.

Justin, Faes, Coady and Vesty have all proven that can perform at this level before, at one point Ndidi was considered one of the leagues better CDM’s…. And he’s decided to leave out a host of the what you would on paper consider better players.

If Ruud can get the lads on side and and just get the basics right get then it allows some of those better qualities to come through, as Enzo proved.

We will just have to wait and see…….

It was noticeable that Bobby DCR came on for some light jogging at the end and exercised his shoulders by shrugging a bit.

Good for his fitness.

Really hope you’re right, remember that was in the Championship, the PL is different gravy!

How he makes his national side is a travesty.

The two biggest mysteries in life.

1) Russell Martin bagging Lucy Pinder.

2) Wout Faes starting for Belgium.

Firstly, that was terrible. I felt the players were really divided in how they wanted to play in the first half. I don't mean formation but style. There is clearly conflict in the squad.

Ruud is going to need a clear style and if players won't play it they will have to be dropped for players that will. No matter how big the names and how popular they are/not with fans.

A couple of unpopular opinions

I was pleased to see Thomas play well. Leicester lad. Had a tough time of it for a while now. But always gives his all. He has come in when the chips are down and gave it a good go today. I hope to see a bit more of him going forward as I think he could be a better player for us than Kristianson.

I'm also not going to get on Justin's back. He has played as a CB last season. A full back/winger this season and today a wing back. He hasn't been helped by any of these systems. We also need him as Ricardo isn't going to be back for a while and next inline will be Choudhury.

Apart from the fact he was entrusted with the clubs transfer kitty and spent it on a pile of shite that aren’t even being selected

Of course, but neutrals don’t see that. They just see that we were above the relegation zone.

At least we were always in games with a chance to snatch something with Cooper.

What the hell was Dawson doing? Unless it was a deliberate middle finger.

Probably got told to set up the team to be more ambitious.

Somehow. This result has been threatened several times.

Hardly a shock, a team devoid of any defensive structure and tactical plan, go out and look a disorganised rabble under the previously sacked Managers deputies, my honest opinion rip it up and start again with a complete new backroom staff, Cooper and his merry men have managed to completely destroy what Enzo had built, no structure, no direction, no leadership and feck all in way of a tactical plan. It’s literally pub league stuff.

Coady’s interview was telling, said they need organisation, discipline and leadership, sounds like Mike Bassett has been running the club for the last 5 months. The decision to hire Cooper has done so much damage however I have a feeling Ruud if he can bring in some good experienced coaching support will get this lot organised and firing, but he has one hell of a job turning this around. The only positive is he has seen the reality of the situation and hopefully identified where we need immediate improvement.

Just seen the goals. Appreciate the backline is rubbish but not helped by no one midfield closing down. Brentford had so much time to pick a pass. Got to get more aggressive. We have so many players that just aren't prem quality. Major RVN turnaround required or it's guaranteed relegation

Just about as embarrassing as it gets. Put a coach in charge that thinks he’s another Pep. Need to throw those fckn manuals away and get back to good old work rate, mentality and getting the ball where it hurts attacking and in Row Z when defending. Sick to death of this crap week in and week out.
