Everyone following the club ought to be rightly ****ed off with that performance.  We're up against Brentford - we should be putting teams like them away but thanks to our complete mismanagement and self implosion over the past few years, Maresca aside, we're supposed to accept it and move on?

What it does show however, is the complete lack of footballing acumen Cooper and his backroom staff contain.  Frightening.  This is supposed to be the highest level of the game - How do these people get into these lofty positions to only show themselves to be totally out of their depth?  Shocking.  Worrying.  It's that bad it almost feels deliberate and Dawsons gone **** it, we'll do this and see what happens.  Perhaps he has.

Genuinely not watched any of the games or highlights for weeks now. I just rather not put myself through this shower...

 

What I will say is Coady saying he feels he needs a run of games to get up to speed and makes me wonder how many variations of our defence has their been already this season. Not sustainable to chop and change this much!

Vardy and Buonanotte fought honorably.

This is no slight on Mads, he's probably been our best player so far, but at times like this I think we really miss Kasper's leadership. He'd have gone absolutely bananas after a performance like that. We've not had someone who holds the team accountable in the way that he did since Rodgers forced him out. I want to see more players with that will to win. Too many happy with playing like shit and collecting their wages without a second thought.

It's not going to get worse, this is the low.

 

A few thoughts. 
 

1- Caretaker was on a hiding to nothing, we saw it a few seasons ago. 
2- Look on the clubs social media back to Tuesday. There's a video of them in the gym on exercise bikes. They're all putting in MINIMAL effort. Anyone who's been in a Puregym knows there's more graft put in there than in that video, and these are professional athletes.

3- Expect Ruud to be ruthless with the defence. Come January you'll see none of these play.

This lack of courage, enthusiasm, will to win, attitude can be traced right back to the move to Butlins (aka Seagrave). Worst thing the club has done. The money should've been spent on the stadium.
