In a couple days in charge, so far it's a lot better.

Genuinely unsure what some people are expecting?

What are you watching?? It’s no better West Ham have not took there chances and hams is single handed keeping us in the game!! We have 8 championship players who are nowhere near good enough no matter who the manger

At the game and actually it's very similar to how Man U were against us. Look good on the counter except some poor final passes. Actually seem better defensively than previously and mixing it up playing out the back and long ball. JJ has been as shite as he has been. Desperately need another right back.

Lots of effort today and we have defended really well.

1 thing I don't get is thou we started playing so positive then just decided to defend for the next 39 Mins plus injury time.

When we was being positive Westham didn't know what to do.

We are at home so let's make westham know who is the home team

Ruud seems to have recognised we aint got the midfield to try and do what were last few games and has gone pure counter first half. Got the early goal out of it but west ham dominating.

At least some fight, but how the flip are we leading this.

Our whole defense including the 2 so called DMs most be among the worst this league has ever seen.

Something has to change, because West Ham can't finish this poor 2 halves in a row.

I'm not really sure what people expected? We have a pretty poor team that's been coached by an absolute team of twats since the summer and they're bereft of any confidence. We've got a new manager in who they clearly all massively respect and they're all running harder and further than before. He's had 2 coaching sessions with them and we've scored a lovely goal. Yes, we're fortunate that West Ham haven't been even vaguely clinical, but we're winning at half time against a decent team full of players that would walk into our team. Let's all relax a little and hope that we can bring in some improvements in January

Absolute rubbish. He's been one of our best players, working his socks off and put in some good balls

Again, being one of our best players isn't hard when we have barely left our own box all game. He's running about a bit sure, but he's not up to the pace of the game yet. He had a moment in the 47th where he tracked back to help Kristiansen and put a good slide in, we got the ball out and he started to jog forward as you do, kristiansen got himself out of position and bilal watched 2 west ham players just drift past him and made no effort to track back again.

Being one of the better players on the pitch when we've played awful doesn't mean he's playing good enough.

You really want Soumare to play well but he disappoints time and time again.

How can he have urgency to run with the ball yet it doesn’t cross his mind to try and close down the opposition when they are a metre away

The difference in possession between Ndidi-Soumare and Winks-Ricardo is immense haha.

Stop blaming Soumare and be fair about it. It is not Soumare. He has gotten into positions to receive the ball and pass the ball forward.

Ndidi just avoids the ball or when he gets the ball he just immediately bounce passes it back to Vesty or one of the other defenders putting them under pressure. A pass later and one of Justin or Kristiansen hoofs it up. No wonder it looks like we can’t control the midfield. This is why Enzo didn’t play Ndidi there and even Cooper saw this!

We want control and keeping the ball, drop Ndidi. I am sick of saying this and I will give RVN a few games to see this. If he doesn’t, I will lose respect for RVN.

Ignoring all the good things Bilal has done then, made a few good tackles, great pass for the goal, can seemingly not dither on the ball as well

Bilal has shown great vision and has probably been more effective than Kasey. Both probably need subbing before 60 minutes for Ayew and Mav.

Lots for the new manager to work on.

We are being overrun, and a rare clean sheet doesn't look likely.

I think we need Skipp on.

Facundo is a fabulously gifted player, and on his day he wins games, but he's having one of those "nothing comes off" matches.  Hope he can turn it around.

Bilal has put in an immense shift, probably further back than we would like, but has an assist and I've been impressed.

The GOAT being just his usual GOAT self - scoring, scaring the crap out of them, harrying

😂😂😂 West Ham should have 2 at least. We still look a bombscare sadly.

I think that is going to be the pattern for the rest of the season but hopefully we will regain some confidence and form. Our passing and decision making could have been better but we are ahead at half time. Better than I expected when I saw the lineup.

It says a lot when this is better and more positive than what we've seen so far this season. At least Ruud has a plan after 1 full day training. Hopefully can hold on and bring some better quality in January that we desperately need.

We're hanging on and West Ham have had some chances but I do feel as though the players look they have a bit more confidence. In most games recently, the players seem like they've had no belief they can get anything but tonight, despite West Ham being on top, they actually look like they think they can get something.

Kasey off for Ayew and Wilf off for Skipp for me

Wilf has been excellent and Skipp hasn't improved the team anytime he's played.

Look at the workrate of Wilf an Soumare.

Need another man in the midfield, straight through every time.

Soumare Ndidi Skipp

Buonanotte Vardy Mavididi

You would take off El Khannouss?

He has been our bets player. If anyone has been poor it's been Buonanotte

West Ham have had more shots in the first half than they have done on record since the 2005/6 season lol

Which sums up our performance, we are winning but Jesus there is zero encouragement about the performance
