Let’s face it with the dreadful recruitment policy we are now paying the price. Our ability matches a lower half championship side. We are stuck with players who are quite useless, unsellable so the January window of opportunity is going to be very disappointing. At lease try to get a box to box midfielder like KDH back. .

Worst part is that my expectations were so low today, and yet they still managed to massively disappoint.

Ward relegated us two years ago playing behind a better team, Mads has made our points total this time respectable.

 

Ward is one of the worst goalkeepers ever to be a Premier league regular. Should never play for us again.

Embarrassing. Worse defence in the league and we made them look like Chelsea 04/05. Didnt look arsed from the start. Always looked like we are a man down. Little creativity. Little urgency. Embarassing from anyone that booed or ironically cheered Ward or JJ. Yeah they were shocking but get behind them in the ground. The individual errors simply have to stop. Was also a game we were never gonna score in. Every second ball dropped to them. Ref gave them everything, every time they got touched and rolled around he couldn’t wait to give them the decision. A lot of players need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Half this side relegated us last time and somehow we thought playing the same low confidence low quality dross would have a different result.

 

Gotta be 5 or 6 changes for Liverpool. We cannot be starting Ward, Kristiansen, Justin, Skipp or Ayew.

 

Ruud needs to establish which of these players have got the balls to get us out of this

I didn't watch todays game unfortunately. This sports writer description probably means I saved a few hours doing something more productive.

Do you really think KDH would make a difference? He's not going to improve the defence. He's not going to create loads of chances that no-one will put away anyway. We need defenders and someone to help Vardy.

I just can’t believe what I’m watching. So many of our issues are staring us in the face and we just don’t do anything. 
 

How are we nearly in 2025 with Ward, Vestergaard and Soumare in the side? I actually thought Soumare did alright today, but that just shows how pitiful the others were.

Home grown so he'd give everything for the shirt and he can score goals at this level. If you have better suggestions list them. As I said, we have limited options.

He's had one shot at this level and we were relegated. If there aren't any 'better suggestions' than KDH then we really are done.

Ward is an embarrassment, an absolute disgrace of a keeper. I don't think we concede any of those goals with Mads in the net.
