Imagine this.

Leicester have been told information that man city will be charged this season . The charge is over 100 points.

Leicester finish 17th in the league but Man City take Leicesters place.

Rudkin Master class 👏

Shame we'll finish 19th isn't it lol

We won't finish 17th.

If we finish 17th then we won't need to worry about anyone else because we'll have stayed up.

We will finish closer to Southampton than Wolves though IMO. I don't think we'll reach 30 points whereas Ipswich and Wolves both will.

We will if Man City get 100+ Points deducted.

They will take the 18th spot

You said we'd finish 17th and they'd take our spot (assume you meant 18th).

Neither are happening.

They'll take 20th if they get a 100 point deduction.

Southampton 19th, us 18th.

When Top goes playing Polo instead of ensuring we get players to ensure our survival; I think it's time for him to go.

Genuine question.  If King Power were to sell up would you have a problem with the club being owned by:

1.  An American franchise that would be simply looking to make money so higher prices, more focus on corporate etc.  Looking to sell on for a profit eg Man Utd.

2.  A nation state with a dubious human rights record.  Eg Newcastle.

3.  A fabulously wealthy individual who wants us as a plaything.  Abramovic did this with Chelsea and they have only survived his departure by finding another fabulously wealthy individual.

I am not saying these are the only options and I am not sure what I think but would be interested in other views.

Nope. Football sold it's soul a long time ago and it's just a matter of time until the super league comes back, so would rather some potential success.

Ultimately, we just want somebody competent who will run the club in a way that gives us a good chance at success. Mistakes will be made but if a new owner showed they were willing to try and adapt, that would be all we can ask for.

Says all you need to know. Lowest spend on transfers over 5 seasons and yet we are in such a financial mess. Just shows what ridiculous contracts have been handed out. King Power are a farce.

Not only the lowest but the poorest too.

Why is it so triggering?

Top is the financier and Chairman of the club - he isn't going to be on the phone to agents trying to get deals done until 11pm last night, that's John Rudkins job.

Top's mistake is hiring him as DOF, and more recently not sacking him - and not putting competent people in charge who can run the club for him while he owns it from a distance.

I don't really give a toss if he's playing polo and spending time with his family, what I'm bothered about is him making decisions to make the club run properly - I'd rather he's out the way and just bankrolling it within the constraints of PSR.

Because he isn't doing the above he needs to go, not because he's swinging a stick around on transfer deadline day.

Whilst everything you say is correct.

It's quite annoying that Ruud said that work has started on signings in December. He continually reiterated that work on signing was happening in the background.

I'd expect any owner that has a passing interest in the club that they have been with for 15 years, to be breathing down their DOFs neck or showing a little interest. Unless of course RVN lied and the club had no desire to sign anyone. Not sure what he stands to gain from that though.

I think it just reiterates the fact that he really doesn't give a sh*t about the club or what's happening. I suppose seeing it actually happening is annoying, despite us already being aware that he obviously doesn't care about the direction of the club.

Seagrave is a nightmare to get into or even nearby. A protest there is logistically difficult - the ground makes the most sense.

Not at all.

This is a very strange reaction. Did the OP not show enough competence at tugging the forelock? Actions and appearances matter; 'Top' has been found lacking in both regards.

Thing is, we still have absolutely no idea who is responsible for those decisions because there's no transparency.

Regardless, it is actually a pretty thick decision to piss off to the other side of the world. Purely to keep up appearances and at least give the illusion that Top is doing everything he can to help the club stay up. Instead he's playing bloody Polo of all things lol. I agree that in reality it's unlikely to have much of an impact but the bloke can't even do basic PR well so what chance is there of him being vaguely competent as an Executive?

I think some people on here need to have a serious think about what they wish for . Does anyone genuinely believe that Top doesn't give a **** about our football club .

He has just personally written off a debt of over 100million....and that's the 2nd time he's done that . You just don't do that for something you don't care about.

He is obviously aware that handing over large sums to spend on players would only lead to big points deductions so his hands are tied on that one .

The mismanagement falls at the feet of Rudkin and his lack of football acumen and I totally agree that he needs to go....and Top certainly has to take the blame for keeping him around for too long .

As for Top being absent playing polo ....well, He has a director of football who's job it is to sort out transfer day ...useless as he is , but I'm sure that Top was available by phone if needed .

Let's just be careful what we wish for .
