I think it’ll take something extreme for fans to storm the stadium like Manchester United did with the Super League fiasco, or getting a game abandoned by thing stuff onto the pitch for King Power / Top to even begin to consider they should be selling us.

Is there employment law that the club have broken here? Hopefully all staff kick up enough of a fuss to realise how much of a ball Monica (?) and her staff have dropped.

Is it likely to see us in more trouble in terms of points deductions?

And we'll fully deserve it. Until they leave I genuinely don't care about the club but things like not paying staff on time is abhorrent

From the information so far the staff will be paid on time but later than expected. If they are paid by the end of the month there will be no points deduction. But as soon as the payments start coming after the due date the points deductions start.

I don't agree with it myself. It's all about kicking a club when it's down. They don't waste time doing it either. But when clubs abuse the financial rules nothing happens for years and the bigger the club the more chance of the charges disappearing.

I believe its a courtesy thing being paid early more than anything Stan.

Yep 100%. Often accompanied by the courtesy of a months notice if they’re not going to be paid early lol

I’d love to know what the actual culture is like inside the club.

We all see the social media posts with everyone smiling, laughing, joking etc, however it’s really just propaganda.

Not paying employees at this time of year is tragic.

Now I get if the want to align the dates, however they should give employees advanced notice of this, not drop it on them with 24 hours notice.

This feels to me like a decision made by someone that cash rich, inexperienced, naive and doesn’t understand the impact it will have on the people who run day to day.

This will blow up I’d imagine if it hits the mainstream media.

A young groundsman left seagrave because he found it too toxic.

Were they actually told they were getting paid early for Christmas or was it just an assumption based on previous years?

Fair assumption isn't it, just like i've assumed i'm finishing at 3 on Christmas Eve like the last four years.... and I was correct.

I wonder if this affects Jon and Anthony or whether special arrangements have been made for Aiyawatt’s Courtiers

Even if it does.... it doesn't. Senior Execs aren't going to be worried about an early Christmas payday in the same way the person who makes Rudkin his weak as piss tea every day is...

A fair assumption I agree but two different things if they were told v an assumption

Another stunning piece of pr.  Either anthony is a fool or top ignores him.

The wording suggests they rraluse hiw appauling this is abd how it will land yet thry have done it anyway.

Looks to me like a complete dropping of the ball rather than ignoring it but who knows.

Either way it’s a huge concern, as if you have a company that hasn’t got the foresight and controls to actually take ownership and check if you are going to pay your staff on the usual time frame (at Christmas, I know they are paid later but this always happens) then you can see how we have ended up being a shambles all over the place.

See that feels less like an admin decision and more of a bigger issue when you read into it.

"It's regrettable that I have been unable to relay this with greater notice"

Why haven't you been able to? Why has this been such a quick decision? What does aligning with the group actually do?

It’s pretty clear that everyone has just assumed this would happen and nobody has either stopped to ask if it is or at a higher level taken ownership to actually do it.

I guess this is probably the level of oversight you might expect from a small business, not from us.

We're not owned by king power group anymore. Why do we need to align?
