King Power Out

Can't help but feel like we have been here before...

The only way Top is turning this around is by firing Rudkin which is never going to happen.

Nothing will change. We'll still delay appointing a new manager, then appoint another useless tw@t when we do, or we'll end up appointing King thinking its what the fans want to cover up the fact we can't attract / afford an actual manager with an ounce of competence.

Genuinely don't think you could sabotage a football club this much if you actually tried.

I promise you Aiyawatt can sack Rudkin. Win a billion pounds on the lottery. Spend every waking day at Seagrave but he will NOT change anything. The man is an imbecile and the biggest problem. He will leave us lower than ever - and not by choice.

I was told that Rudkin's loyalty and personal support for Top after the crash is the reason why Top won't get rid.

It's a Thai thing to repay loyalty with loyalty, apparently.

Correct.

Isn't that how it ought to be among all humans?

It's this weird Eastern Mysticism that we want to believe in for some reason. Like the whole 'respect is very important to the Easterners' bullshit that get peddled as though it's not important anywhere else.

They're no more or less loyal than anyone else in the world. Choosing to believe that is just desperation for an excuse.

Spot on. I too think this is what will happen. We will waste so much time over the summer trying to shift on players we can’t, instead of Top injecting money into the club, we will spend ages trying to to unattainable managerial targets, and end up starting the season with King……

I predict we will start the season with no manager, and no new players. And it will gradually just get worse and worse.

But, according to a “proper fan” in the pub yesterday, it’s not Top’s fault and we need to back the family……

Depends on whether you're facing relegation or not.

Then it could be argued that Rudkin is abusing that show of loyalty, exploiting it even.

Oh well ,when we go into administration that'll be when Rudkin  finally  goes ,repaying  loyalty with going out of business, thanks Top.

Then why sack Pearson or Ran. I’m sure it’s more of a save face with the King of Thailand thing to keep their monopoly

Susan Whelan was his father’s right hand women. Stood by the family for years. Much longer than Jon ****ing Rudkin. If there was anything about loyalty, she was miles ahead of the little worm.

He keeps Rudkin because he is dumb and massages his ego. Doesn’t have a critical bone (and criticism, critic is a key skill for an exec) and says yes to everything. He’s easy. That’s the only reason he keeps him.

If Top told Rudkin he wanted to **** a polo stick on the centre circle before a match Rudkin would ask which match and tell him it be great with fireworks in the background.

You can be loyal by making him PA or Horse manager, not the most important job at a football club. Actually if he loves Rudkin so much he’s being bad to him by putting him in a position where he is out of his depth

That's not a king, that's a space station.

(In commemoration that it's actually Star Wars Day.)

I sort of understand the loyalty bit, but if this is the case just move Rudkin to another part of the KP empire. Send him to be head of the stud farm at the stables. I'm sure the stallions would find some pleasure in rogering him.

I had the most infuriating conversation with a “fan” in the pub yesterday.

My mate and I were discussing our downfall and he couldn’t help himself but to but in.

His opinions were absolutely wild, I thought he was taking the piss at first, but when he started to get nasty, (and subsequently asked to leave by the landlord) proves he wasn’t.

He was so brainwashed by the KPFC brand, it was like we didn’t exist before KP…. He couldn’t present a genuine argument, other than, we were apparently nothing before king power, we are all deluded and self entitled rats apparently for being against KP… he pretty much just kept saying we were rats, and that was about all he could say.

But he could not even see the problems, he thought nothing was wrong, and this was all normal bar what he said were “a couple” of mistakes by top. He thinks it’s completely acceptable for us to just become a shrine to Vichai, and he was happy for the club to lose its identity to KPFC, as again, he just kept saying we were nothing before them…..

The bloke was unbelievably thick, I just can’t understand why there are still fans around like this? Who just can’t see the problems…….. and refuse to accept Top and KP have done anything wrong.

not surprising that a staunch kpfc loyalist can't articulate a reasoned and well structured argument which is why no one has heard any argument apart from 'they won us the prem'
