I don’t know quite whether we will get the full truth but Coady’s comments over ‘it going deeper’ and subsequently podcasts and comments from people in/around the club are finally pointing at what the problem has been all along. No one wants to say it yet but give it six months, you’ll Coady and others finally saying about how the owner’s behaviour followed by his lapdog allowed this club to create a really shitty atmosphere. 
 

The reason they’ve never wanted strong characters around the club is because they never want to be challenged and the whole horseshit around respect has allowed the owner to abuse that

At this point the investigation into Man City was already 3 years in, and about 2 years short of the charges being announced. 

 

The case is still ongoing.

People just love to bootlick, you see it in all walks of life, politics, work, sport the list goes on. There will always be people ready and willing to please master no matter how badly he treats them.

I get people don’t want Martin but surely most of the anger and frustration should be vented at the people who chose to appoint him rather than other candidates who would have united the club. How much longer are people going to bury their heads in the sand and not realise who is really to blame here.

I walked past McCarron waiting to get in the ground, but didnt see Rudkin anywhere in the stands (my eyesight is sh1te). 

 

What happened at the end has to be a huge talking point for the ownership? I presume McCarron very much has to behave as Rudkins puppy but you would presume with his background he would clock that the situation is beyond repair?

As someone who's probably the furthest thing from a Russell Martin fan, couldn't agree more.

The same boneheads had one for Rowett, King and Cifuentes as if they really were shocked that under each manager nothing had changed but forcing the current one out would bring that change about.

It's hard to believe that protests aren't happening before every game until they are gone but there are just too many fans who believe that we just need the right manager and all will be ok. I have 2 friends who just won't entertain criticism of the ownership, that we just have to keep supporting through good times and bad.
