Questions, again, already:

Bounanotte on the bench, Ayew starts..?

Faes not even in the squad.

Coady and Vestegaard at centre half again. You’d have assumed at least one of Faes/Okoli starts after the Wolves debacle, surely?

How you don't change that backline after that performance against Wolves is beyond me! Even more so... opting to play a back 4 against the best team in the Premier League!

It’s the fact he isn’t trying anything else……. Why not try a back three and change to a more counter attack based game? We’ve seen countless times that midfield fail to cut out the passing lanes and expose the back four……. Surely we pack out the middle of the pitch to make us a bit harder to break down.

Oooh, changing things.

Not in the modern game. Just do it better.

That's how it goes right?

****ing hell…….. it just gets worse and worse and worse. What is the actual deal with Buonanotte? Someone give me a logical answer.

Obviously going back to Brighton in January

If Buonanotte is being sold in January by Brighton wtf does that matter? Play him if we are allowed to. If RVN is trying to plan for half a season without him then why have him on the bench at all? Either start him or don't have him in the squad, logic of having him only as a sub really doesn't add up.

Does the Ruud out thread appear after tonight?

Can the kids play at anfield?

Lol. My 2 oldest are girls. Not that I'm against girls playing football, but I don't think they'd be eligible to play in the men's league. My youngest is a boy. Only just turned 2, but if Ward was playing I was prepared to drive him to Anfield and offer him as an alternative keeper.

Let's face it, we're down and out. This is a mainly championship squad that was badly invested in by Pooper recommended players and trusted by a clown as DoF and board members. Need a clear out, but it's far too late.

7-0

Apparently so…… **** me this is going to be painful.

Just going to throw it out there, I think Buonenotte not playing is as tactical as Cooper not playing Ricardo.

Think he wants a more creative player in the 10 in Al Khannouss, and a more defensive RW in Ayew / McAteer to account for Justin playing further up.

Not saying I agree... Just that its one of the possibilities and imo ahead of 'Ruud doesn't know his best players'.

Ward is an odd one because he looks decent in cup games against lower league sides and sometimes better side. The fact he has no bottle or loses his shit so much against bigger sides has clearly gone under the radar until he’s got that big PL contract (and didn’t he get a contract renewed here as well?). I’d be interested to know how close we’ve got to shifting him - I suspect not very close at all.

I remember raising an eye brow when we paid so much for him as a backup. Turns out we we’re all bang on the money.

He will leave on a free in the summer when his contract expires.

If FB is leaving in January then why not play him every minute of every game!!

It's not like we have even one other creative  player ffs.

Thete is no question over Van Nistelrooy in my mind, he's out of his depth by miles.

I’ve agreed to a shot for every goal scored. Hopefully the royal infirmary is quiet around 9ish

Completely agree

A lot of people seem unhappy with that defence, and I agree it isn’t good, but who do they expect to play? We simply don’t have the defenders at the moment and need some in when the transfer window opens. From all our defensive options available, I don’t think RVN can do much. It isn’t his fault that this is the level of defenders at the club.
