Different league unfortunately.

 

Cannon struggles in this league. He’s a better finisher than Daka but he doesn’t have the pace and on field positioning. He’s also can’t beat a man. 
 

Armstrong, Szmodics and Summerville got 67 goals between them last season. 
 

This year in the Premier League they’ve managed 4. Albeit Szmodics hasn’t really played. 
 

Cannon and Daka are both in line with their xG stats this season. So neither is really performing better than the other. Cannon has also had 4 penalties, scoring three of them, which increases his numbers.

The Wolves game was a major shock and really changed the way a lot of people regard our prospects this season. I can’t remember many games that have had such a depressing impact on our fanbase. However (and I accept I may be in the minority here) I was quite encouraged by what I saw in the Liverpool game. There seemed to be a more defined structure to our play and a lot more resilience. Maybe it was just a one-off, but maybe it was evidence that RVN’s work on the training ground is beginning to show on the pitch. For that reason I’m not quite as defeatist about today as some others seem to be. I don’t subscribe to the view that Man City are suddenly going to snap out their malaise and thrash us without breaking sweat (their issues seem much more deep-rooted than that). I think it will be tighter than some folk are expecting - and if it’s tight we have a chance.

i know a few stoke fans as I live in staffs, they like him but by no mean rave about him.

We let in three goals by default in every match this season. We have no chance against Man City, we just need to try to keep them below 5-6 goals so that our goal difference isn’t completely hammered before we can reinforce in January.

 

We are by a stretch, the worst team in the division at the moment.

Soumare isn't crap. Skipp doesnt make tackles.

Given that we only lost 3-1 away to Liverpool, who are vastly superior to Man City this season, what makes you think we’ll concede 5-6 goals today?

Skipp can’t play football, so no point playing him.

Interesting game. If one team can come out the winner then it could kick start their season. For us, Villa aren't in scintillating form either so there is a chance for points in both the next 2 if we get things right.

 

I know Man City are going to try and keep the ball, starve us of possession and wear us down, but i hope we keep going until the end even if we are down. This lot have let in late goals recently and are frail. Even if we are 1 behind we are in this game.

We don’t stand a chance, and they will thrash us quite comfortably. 
 

They’ve been losing games to teams who can expose their weaknesses…. We’ve no one who can trouble Walker, we won’t be able to contain Foden, and there’s no way a 37 year old Vardy will give Akanji anything to think about. 
 

Plus Haarland won’t have much to do to better that defence. 
 

We are the perfect tonic for their recent troubles. We’ve not been playing with any intensity recently, and that’s what they’ve been struggling with, dealing with teams who get into their face and make life difficult for them.

Predicting another miserable afternoon down the KP. We can't defend so we will have no chance. 

I thought Everton defended well against them but Man City still had 24 shots!

For the first time in many seasons I’m not going as Ive got a family meal. Normally I’d skip the meal or push for it to be past match. But at the moment I’m not getting the buzz I used to get. Even in our darker days and where we struggled to get 15k in filbert st. Anyone else got this lethargy?
