Is that an actual thing? Banana spread I mean

Ha, yeah see above, poor choice of words. It's just banana mushed onto toast.

Brussels sprouts + mayonnaise + Marmite sandwich

Mushy peas and cheese on toast

Not had either in a long while, but both recipes will go in my celebrity Xmas present cookbook when I become famous

What are your usual, weird but delicious food combinations that shouldn’t go together!?

We all know that person that dips their fries in a milkshake?

How about Black pepper on strawberry’s?

Sugar and butter on Yorkshire puddings?

Nutella on Bacon?

The classical crisp sandwich?

Milk with coke?

Dipping your toast in your tea?

These aren’t mine by the way! We got into this discussion over Christmas Day evening! When my sister in law mixed Guacamole with Ice Cream! I do like a Walkers Crisp Sandwich though.

What are yours?

Suger and butter on Yorkshire puddings is how I'd always have them as a kid. My dad didn't like them with dinner, so he had them that way. So, wanting to be like my dad and also the fact it was called pudding, I'd only ever have them as pudding

What an idiot!

Having said that, much like pancakes, they are a neutral base, so taste good sweet or savoury. So the reverse situation to Yorkie Pud does my head in, when people will only eat pancakes sweet (yet will probably happily eat fajitas  morons!)

Bacon and maple syrup though, or even honey... Mmmmmmmmmmm :yesyes:

Is a crisp sandwich weird?!

No.

Especially if it's a Wotsit or Frazzles sandwich on white bread sandwich.

Here's a treat for you. Crush Frazzles and sprinkle on to cheese on toast before the cheese sets.

You're welcome.

I also use crumpets as mini pizza bases.

Toast crumpet slightly (preferably giving the base a little more than the top. On goes tomato puree (passata, salva, chopped tomatoes or even ketchup at a pinch) then cheese, then add anything else - tinned tuna is easy to do, a few jalapenos, sweetcorn.

Again, you're welcome.

I have in the past spread butter and jam on Weetabix... and cheese to.

Basically it's a very expensive Ryvita.

Not worth the expense.

.

I will probably eat cheese with anything.

I don't think it's that weird and I found out by mistake whilst eating my pack up when I was a wee lad at school, eating a bar of chocolate whilst also eating ready salted/plain crisps. Taste sensation.

When i worked in engineering we allways ordered from the cob shop on a Friday.Everyone had the usual.....Bacon and Egg,Sausage and Bacon etc.....other than one guy who was a Muslim and i understand he couldn't eat the same as we all ate.....but he went for a Cheese Cob and dipped it into his black coffee and then drank the Cheese remnants at the bottom of the cup. Each to their own but it did put me off my cob!
