Popular Post Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 January Popular Post Posted 16 January Will be sad to see him go. Hopefully he can come back one day, perhaps in a coaching role? 17
Edingleyfox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Well if he does go I think we do need a striker in ideally now. We rely a ridiculous amount on Jamie playing 90 minutes regularly some sort of injury is almost inevitable 1 1
Sly Posted 17 January Posted 17 January He’s just a younger, Irish version of Temu Pukki isn’t he? Shoots from everywhere. Low conversion rate. Can’t beat a man. Stat pads with penalties. 2

coolhandfox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January With the lack of incomings noises, it seems we have to move some on to generate capacity to bring some in.
HankMarvin Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Everton could be in line to pocket up to £3.25million should Tom Cannon leave Leicester City and join Sheffield United, according to the Liverpool Echo. The news outlet reported on 16 January that the Toffees included a 25 per cent sell-on when he left for the Foxes back in 2023.

Ignoring for a second that that's insanely bad business from us (a given, at this point), that isn't how sell on clauses usually work. It'll be 25% of any money we earn over what we paid. They won't get that much unless we make 21m. 5
Haywood_6 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January 18 hours ago, Marshall Cockney Fox said: I can't fathom people's stance on Cannon. He's young, developing and way off a strikers ceiling. Yet people seem keen as mustard to jettison him the moment anyone bids close to what we paid. Have you lads not seen Patson Shanker play? Do you not see the gradual demise of Vards? Cannon is young and a resource. 7 mil will not guarantee you anything in the striker transfer market. I'd rather stick than twist myself! Couldn't agree more. 3

moore_94 Posted 17 January Author Posted 17 January Good deal for us financially on the face of it but the idea of Rudkin trying to sign 2-3 new strikers next season pretty much no matter what league we are in scares the shit out of me 2

winteriscoming Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Just now, StanSP said: £1m fee £12m fee upon promotion. So that’s Sheff Utd not going up then. What crystal palace reject are we going to get in?
Haywood_6 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Sad to see him go if true. Another striker we've not given a proper chance. He does lack a bit of physicality but I think he's a very decent all round striker. I can see him doing well there and helping with promotion. 1
Wymsey Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Could only see a bit of a lack of pace as one of his main weaknesses.
Levi Port Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Good deal as long as we spend the money on somebody better 1
coolhandfox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January We need movement out to bring some fresh blood in he seems to be on of the few players generating interest. Needs must.
